Possibly because my nutes were all organic. My understanding is that they need to be broken down by bacteria before plant takes them up, I am thinking that's why it took the girls a while to show they were hurting.

All this could have been avoided if I watered with run-off at least here and there, and check its pH and EC.

This is true about mycorrhizae and beneficial bacteria breaking down organic nutrients so the the roots can absorb them. I had problems early on with organics in hydro, but I'll give it another chance now that I've got White Shark.

And yeah, I made the same mistake about not gettin' enough runoff earlier in my 1st time with soil (my current Round 3). Your girls are bouncing back nicely!

Yeah man, I am gonna give them some white shark with their next light feed.

I hope I can get good number from the run off so I can continue feeding them some PK boosters.

So far I have been very grateful to Coco, I am impressed with the margin of error allowed in coco.

Some of the fan leaves are turning purple. It does happen to be the coldest spot in the grow area, so I hope it is from low temps and not anything else.

If it's the kush that has the fans turning purple, I believe this is normal in the later stages of flower. My pk has a little purple-ish color comming out on the buds too. If you check out Dragon's last pk grow his bud leaves turned purple too.
I am glad to hear you got back on track. I am sure it didn't effect your outcome. The best advice I have received is to not freak out when something goes wrong, as something is bound to go wrong. Just assess the problem and counter the issue as you did. Atleast you learned something and cought it in time. Well done!!

I spotted a small nug full of seeds on the Himalayan Gold.

Man I was so happy until now. I was really hoping my HG wouldn't herm because I have hear numerous folks have had their HG cross dress on them.

I am ultra pissed. Once in a while I would spot a pollen sac and remove it, but fuck this nug was pregnant all the way.

FUCK FUCK I tried looking closely but couldn't find any more pregnant buds, but I could be wrong because the seeds are so well hidden.

I am seriously gonna fuckin cry, if I loose this crop, I cannot imagine being in pain for another few months.

Keep your head up HT... This is your 1st grow and you'll def be prepared if this happens again. Here's something I learned that wasn't clear to me in my 1st round... There's two types of hermies... Ones that throw out ball sacks and pistils early in the transition phase and ones that throw out nubbins (aka little green bananas that turn yellow when they are about to drop their pollen) in the last half of flowering.

The nubbins have a low amount of pollen compared to the ball sacks and are extremely hard to spot. During my 2nd round I ended up plucking nubbins every day of the last half of bloom and mitigated the pollination of flowers in my bloom room. Either way, I would have left that small bud site for the beans to mature since the damage is already done. Start lookin' closely at your bud sites for bananas... :banana::banana:

I trashed the fuckin things cuz I was so mad, regardless they have the hermie gene and i dont want me or anyone to have these genetics.

Holy shit I am spotting mildew all over the place, the OG is the main victim. I don't know how to lower the humidity any more it at 30-40 percent at the moment. There is no standing water. I do have milder cure and penetrator, but i guess it is too late for that.

Dammit, what should I do guys, I am on day 44-45 should I start flushing and chop them soon, before the problems get worse.

I need help really bad what should I do.

On top of that I did find another small pregnant nug, I spent an hour under the fucking lights, my neck is burnt I am tripping fucking balls.

in anycase dont stress too hard bro - your not gonna lose your crop - I wouldnt worry about the beans maturing since your not going to want to use them anyway...


get your next cuts or seeds or whatever going now and get a jump so you can just transition them into your flower area and then your next harvest wont be 3 months!

you should look into some good indica doms - they are better for pain and some are done as early as 45- 50 days!

edit - just saw your other posts about the PM - fucking eh, when it rains it pours - you can use a product called "green cure" during bloom - its organic and safe... I got mine from worms way.com - not many grow stores carry this...

its not impossible - but can be difficult - how bad do you have it?

id start out by taking off affected leaves - make sure you can get air and light all through your canopy - somebody was saying in another thread they use serenade and then there is the 10% milk to water spray - (1 part milk 9 parts water) that people swear by - though i have never been able to bring myself to try it personally....

I just picked out like a 100 bananas, FUCK FUCK, it is virtually impossible for me to find and pick every banana. What are the chances that everything will get pregnant in another 15 days.

Also I just spent a fucking hour picking out the mildew effected leaves. I also removed the dinky nugs in the bottom which would never make it up anyways. Mildew isn't spread to the buds up top but just in the bottom dinky nugs. Some of the big fan leaves have a tiny bit as well. I removed everything I could see with PM.

I rather chop early and have less crop than to risk bud rot.

I have added some more fans to re-circulate the air in the room. If the PM keeps getting worse I am chopping around the 50th day mark.

I've been spraying my girls with 10 ml of Zone and 60 ml of Penetrator, but that's nots full strength and I still have not completely eradicated the PM, but it def works on mature buds w/o harm to the trichomes. I'm gonna post shots tonight as yesterdays were also after my PMP treatment.

I did a lot of reading on hermies. I did have tons of bananas. I am not sure how much pollen was in there already developed. I did my best to pull out as much as I can carefully, I just hope everything in the grow room didn't end up pregnant.


For the PM, I removed whatever I could spot and I also added 3 fans for recirculation, I am really hoping this gets me by for another 2 weeks.


RJ I don't have any shots of the PM as I have removed it all.

Disregarding the PM and bananas, the HG is really swelling up and becoming way more frosty. The OG's is swelling as well but slowly.

I am thinking 1 more week of base nuts and bloom boosters and then off to flushing with clearex for the last week.

This will give me a total of 60 days, that would be 8 weeks and 4 days. what do you fellows think.
