First time indoor grow

Thank you! I’m hoping curing will only take about 3 weeks. Any advice on that? Honestly kind of reminds me of cat pee lol, I’m hoping that’s not the end result

Honestly, a proper dry and cure is the hardest part for me. So my suggestion is be vigilant and patient lol. You want to make it as slow as possible to trap as little chlorophyll as possible. Keep it dark, keep it cool, keep it from drying toooo fast (tough in AZ I know), and check it often. All I have.

1 week of cure down I wish the buds looked prettier bud so far no foul smell or mold so I can’t complain.

3 weeks of cure now. Gave her another test and I’m very pleased with the high I got from it along with the taste and smell. It has a fruity aroma to me Still curing for another week or two and then will give it a final test.

Yes! starting Jan 1st it’s legal for recreational purposes. Very excited about that!

Almost 4 weeks of cure! I’ve been smoking it daily now for the last couple of days and am still happy with the outcome. I wish the appearance and taste were a little better :/ and it’s a little more harsh than I’d like. The smell is sweet and fruity though! The buds don’t seem to be sticky compared to buds I get from my local dispensary, but the high is just as good if not better than even more expensive strains I’ve tried In total I ended up with 37 grams. Not too bad for my first grow and the issues I had.
I have some new Critical Purple auto-flower seeds on the way and have my space ready for my second grow. I’m now using a 1000w full spectrum LED light with 3 40w LED strips I hung on the walls to help get light to the middle canopy when needed. Will update again once seeds arrive!

Me too! I think it will really help get a higher yeiled and better buds And I agree, smoking my own is so damn nice haha.

From most of what I’ve read 4-8 weeks is what most people follow. But I’m happy with the outcome after almost 4 weeks of cure so I’m smoking it early.

Grow #2 has begun!

Seed: Critical Purple Auto-Flower by Growers Choice Seeds
Soil: Fox Farm Happy Frog Ready-To-Use Potting Soil
Pot: 5-gallon fabric/breathable pot
Nutrients: Fox Farm Grow Big & Tiger Bloom (will be using LIGHTLY if at all)
Lights: ParFact Works HB1000 Full-Cycle w/ LM301H Plus Red, IR and UV LED Bloom Enhancers (pulls 100w) (Coverage: Veg: 3x3’, Flower: 2x2’) & 3 LED strip lights (not of sure the wattage)
Space: 3’ W x 1.6’ L x 5’

Water pH: 6

Germination: Soaked seed in cup of water for 18 hours. Poured water and seed onto a plate, covered in paper towel, and kept in a warm dark space until the tap root was about half an inch. Planted seed in soil and it sprouted 2 days later (today). The tap root did slightly grow into the paper towel, it was that quick haha, so I panicked a little but after doing some research, everything I was reading said the paper towel is biodegradable and shouldn’t cause any issues so far so good!

2 weeks! I will be getting an official grow tent and air filtration kit for Christmas and I can’t wait to get it all setup and move her into her new home! I think that’s really going to help keep the humidity and temp stable compared to my small closet. I’m having issues with dust as well, since my space isn’t sealed and I live in a very dry and dusty climate, so hopefully the tent helps with that as well. I’m also hoping to add another plant with the extra space soon after!

What are you doing to keep your humidity in range? I'm in a basement and I struggle to get it above 45%, at any point in her life cycle. Thanks for sharing btw I was able gather good knowledge from your last grow.
