Quick question. Is this because the nutrients are acids and as their content in the medium decreases, the buffering capability of the medium is rising in proportion?

Yes because nutrients are acidic for the most part they can overcome the buffer like you say. There are more reasons for ph fluctuation including type of nitrogen but for simplicity sake this is a good rule.

This is why when we see a low ph help thread with yellowing plants it is a bad idea to suggest adjusting ph in a buffered potting mix. Usually just needs a flush or even just fresh water so the plants can take up the excess. Then the medium returns to normal.

I can tell you are getting a good feel for what is going on now. :-) nice work and your garden is showing it.

Seeds in the water. Golden Tiger and Panama x Bangi Haze.

Paging @beluga...... 🙂

I am excited. I have basically been working myself up to growing Golden Tiger since I started growing and I think now is the time. Panama x Bangi Haze is a chance to try something with a lot of CBG and see how Panama crosses....and I really like the Panama plants so far so I could see myself growing a lot of these things out in the near future.

Working with males today, continuing to collect pollen by cluster....these hazes are just amazing. Hal seems to have flowered all at once, popped, and I'm not sure what he's up to now. Horace otoh is just pushing incredible amounts of pollen out while still working in new clusters.

Widows aren't quite in full flower yet since they are a week behind, but the latecomer has a lot better flowering than the other one and i think the call is getting obvious....

I mean look at Hal!

I have snipped him a good bit collecting pollen but you still get the idea.

Very long flowering time but, being what it's fir I can understand why you'd choose it. Great patience to take a space up when you're limited too.
I've been buying again too, went fur 2 cbd strains for family, and a couple to bump it up fur freebies, both heavy stoners for me

Looks yummy....will be interesting to see you lock in some new strains.

Yeah the mekong and caribe both look very interesting....the caribe especially atm....I'm wondering if that jamaican would play nice with these Durban fems i have been sitting on.....

Or maui wowie fem, which i grew in my first crop and loved.

You could make same argument for mekong.

Mind virus this breeding stuff... The possibilities!
