I've been doing a major upgrade to the flower tent and its been going on for months. Couldn't get some valves I wanted. Then the tables had some leaking issues. I finally moved plants in and used it for the first time 12 days ago. I had the tank at 80% on day 1 and today I had to refill for the first time. Nice even 605 ppm and 6ph that runs 3 times daily for 75 seconds through 4 each 1/4 tubing per plant.

There is a single common sump for both tables and the dehumidifier. Pump switch drains it to the house main sump. The tent is controlled by a TrolMaster Hydro-X. Dehumidifier, humidifier, heater, exhaust etc. I can't really emphasize enough how environmental control in a sealed environment is wickedly important.

There is a 65 gallon holding tank connected to a EcoPlus Elite 900 gph (stop laughing I know). Manifold drains via valve to the same line the tent sump drains to. Second valve controls a line that just runs back into the holding tank for pressure relief since I have this insane pump. Two valves, one for each table on the other side of a 30 psi regulator. I just run the return line wide open all the time and there is still more than enough pressure for the plants. I want to put a CIP ball on there for cleaning but I have not thought it through. 12 days was cake, I can easily do 14. I really don't open the tent or look in much its that easy. Pump runs 3 x a day at 75 seconds and that gives me the overflow I want.

There are four plants that were abused rudely in veg but they've come back well once I sorted out some irrigation problems. I am in very tight to the lights which are running at 80%. I finally got it dialed in good the last few days. The tent isn't anything like a truly sealed room, but its still really cool how much you can control the environment.

This is the other DJ Short Flo variant on the other side that is so ugly. It kept falling over and I wouldn't notice for a few days and it would grow weird, I would stand it up, rinse repeat. This is a reminder people. Not all your kids are cute.

I was able to get one female PCK out of the freebie seeds that came with my last order. I really hoped for the pink version and the mother plant turned out to be that type. I have two clones so thats going to be great. In this picture you can see some of the leaf fade I was getting in veg. I was running 380-420 ppm solutions and it was doing more than just slowing growth. They look good now if I can just keep them out of the lights.

I am shooting for around 1.2 kpa. The tent can be controlled or at least in winter I can. The cold slab is working in my favor. The exhaust fan is the disrupter for me. I don't seem to need negative pressure at this point for odor, so the less it runs the better. Its pulling in 30% or less humidity running and throws everything off. Pulling back the LEDs to 80% has really cut back on the exhaust run time. Once the humidifier and dehumidifier are in sync with the TrolMaster humidity can pretty much be anything - unless the exhaust fan runs.

Shot leaf temps through out the canopy. Most temps are in the 81-83 range until I get up within a foot of the lights. Then it goes up in steps to max of 89F for the highest point that is within 4 inches of the light.

Was really bummed out that I had to lop the tops off a lot of my main colas on one of the PCK plants. It grew right up into the LEDs and there wasn't any choice. I have everything an inch away today, but it is still growing.

Its interesting seeing the mother plant and the clone side by side but in two different growing mediums. The mother plant was grown in soil and is at 69 days of flower. The clone is in coco at 23 days of flower. The growth and color of the clone is much nicer and I don't have the deep purple stem color of the mother plant.

What's the aroma? She looks gorgeous.

Thanks, its actually kind of beat up compared to the clones. But the smell... its ungodly old school skunk. That why I couldn't chop, I had appliances delivered today and had to keep it sealed in the tent until they were done.

Was really bummed to open the tent and find one of the PCK plants on its side. The bud weight has really increased on these and its going to be a problem. I should have thought about how hard it is to stake a large plant in a 2 gallon pot, and how easily a 2 gallon pot tips over.

Ran a batch of cookies last night using my potency calculator. I still feel it is calculating the per serving THC heavy. I ran into a roadblock using the 8% Purple Urkle from the last run. I just assumed it would make great edibles, but I've used it with butter twice and once with coconut oil, each time the result was poor. These were the best out of the test run so far, but they seemed a lot closer to 10s then 31s.

Well... chit. I got complacent and didn't check the plants for 36 hours, which was long enough to royally screw things up. The auto-irrigation system failed resulting in the mess below. The plants came back.. sort of, but the sugar isn't there and I probably scorched them beyond recovery. Crazy thing, the manifold was running with the return (pressure relief) running wide open so that there was a nice smooth flow that required about 2 minutes to bring all 4 plants to runoff. That was running 4 times a day. Full flood at lights on and 3 hours before lights off. A brief splash, not enough to flood that occured halfway between each full flood event. Life was good.

At some point a blockage started. The first plant that had a problem was the farthest one back in the pictures below. Then the next one, and I don't know how long this has been going on. The problem did not extend over to the other table. I partially closed the pressure relief and the flow to the good table. This blew the problem out and I was able to dial everything back in, but I chose to retain the much higher flow which results in a full flood in 40 seconds. I guess now we see what happens. I was not a happy person.
