Hi guys! I’m in my first grow, done plenty wrong as most people seem to reading into it to much and over doing everything 😂. I did overwater the first batch. I gave up on them and started fresh, these have been doing great but were so slow to grow at first.

They are elev8 gorilla glue
Started from seed about 8-9 weeks ago (vegged for so long due to me doing things wrong and then growing so slow)
Planted in soHum soil,
7gallon smart pots.

I did not feed any nutrients until the leaves started to yellow (I’m guessing it depleted the soil) so I started to feed them every watering (about 3-4days) as seen in the photos with all the roots organics line. First I did about half what it asked for. Then added more trying to remedy the yellowing. It helped at first but now got way worse. I’m guessing I’m over feeding or something.

Running a lux 645watt light at 80% in a 5x5, keeping about 18-24inches from the canopy.

They are in week two of 12-12.

Just after some help! I’m sure I overfeeded them or have caused a lock out.

I always ph my water when feeding.

would appreciate your help! Growing seems so simple when I’ve grown so many other plants but this has been a learning curve and I’m sure I’m overdoing everything!

I’m no expert I had problems similar to this. What is your temperature day and night and also humidity? And how often and how much water are you giving her

About 78-80 in the day, about 70-74 at night. Humidity runs around 40% or there abouts all the time. I’m running a cloud line fan that kicks on with high temps or high humidity to control it.
About a gallon every 3-4days as needed.
Any help is good! Thanks!

I’ll wait for someone else to chime in but for 7 gallon pot that might not be enough water you may have dry pockets in your soil. Just a thought

Thank you, I really appreciate it. Loving the learning experience, it’s been fun for sure. I find myself in my grow room more than anywhere in my house now 😂.

Actual content 1 gallon of water for a 7g pot might not be enough. Are you watering til runoff? Might be something to think about

I am not watering to run off (some soil may be staying dry) I may flush this plant and start fresh with nutrients. Looking into it I have yellowing between Veins and red stems so it may be a mag Deficiency? Thanks for your help.

What do you suggest? I haven’t been feeding cal mag hardly until the last few weeks (grow store didn’t have that nutrient yet from RO)
You can mix tap into your ro...really good to get a hold of a water report. Whats your ph and ppm out of the tap?

Edit
At this point i wouldnt. For future yes

Report was good, I get about 180 and 6.4ph out of tap.
If thats city water dont drink that shit

I think acidic water eats lead out of pipes and INTO US..lol...dont drink it...remember the lead may only add a little extra ppm. Like 10 or 20...im not exp with water and pipe leaching. Point is if its leaching 10 to 20 ppm you may not notice it looking at your ppm.

Do you know what the caco3 or calcium carbonate level is?

All my water I drink is from our filtered water dispenser. And I really don’t know, I’ll try find the water report again and take a look at it. Thanks!

Oh so your water ppm 180 6.4 ph is before filtration or after?

Going to flush the plant tonight and give it a new dose of nutrients.

Well I flushed it today. Checked run off on the first dose and it came out at 4.2! Gonna say I was locked out by far. I didn’t think I was over feeding but I guess I was. I always PH all watering but maybe it built up not watering to run off.

Not watering to run off can certainly explain hot spots. An overabundance of certain things can cause deficiency in others as well. Might be the start of figuring it out!
