to be helpful, any real experiment has to control the variables. there are far too many aspects of being a good farmer that you need to ascertain before setting out on an endeavour

I'm still following along with this because I am interested in seeing the results. I think what he's trying to say is that if you fim in flower, you will stunt it and lose at least a week of bud growth. Flowering plants are extremely fragile and any stress at all will be noticed it yields. Believe me if you'd like, I'm not here to agrue. I'm just clarifying what the other guy was saying so that you can plan accordingly. Peace.

if I fimm a cola in flower its cause I wanted to stunt ITS growth, that would have been the point. Thanks tho

Just a quick tip. CO2 is heavier than air so the lower the plant in the room, the more you'll utilize but don't give it too much when it doesn't need it or else you'll get the opposite effects.

Flower stretch does not interfere with bud developement any further then real estate, it stops stretching before buds start swelling

Buds grow from stem cells at the end of the tops. Cutting off the stem cells cuts off the plant's ability to grow buds. You prioritized not letting all these months of effort go to waste so cutting off bud sites will waste ALL of your hard work. Please understand before you actually destroy the plant.

what are you fimming on the cola to keep it level?

do you know what fimming actually means? the acronym i mean, FIM... i think you FIM'd

And all down the cola that its gowing, not just at the newest shoot, you should know that, every intersection of everycola at best light location will be a main cola. Every cola above the screen will be a main cola

I will maintain complete level colas, take that how you will, if I have to fim or top I will to keep it in its place. Why does that upset you, its part of my end game?

A cola is a fully formed bud. Fimming is pulling the middle of a growing tip out.
You can’t fim a developed bud.

How can you not agree that production brows shoildnt be more calculate and managed for a guaranteed result, and how do you know they’re not. Im a new home home grower trying to learn a system for production, and its f***ing yall all up. If it works we can all get rich, why yall mad? Smoke one. I like a challenge thats all, and Im not challenging yall just myself, I appreciate the help and have heard everything that has made sense, and Ill continue to need help. Goodnight guys
