Hi I’ve been a horticulturalist by trade for many years I started growing veg in back yard with Grandmother and Father who at the time was head hort at Brisbane botanical gardens later became superintendent for Brisbane and some of the smaller gardens run by botanical gardens as teaching aids , so my question is what’s growing in you veg patches and on your fruit trees , at the moment here in tassie winter is fast approaching , we had a great spring summer autumn crops salad greens , tomes, corn , ect ect , I’m my yard I have apples , pears , peach, apricot, and this summer started on the citrus trees ,oranges , lemons ,limes ,about to plant out mandarins, tangelo and blood orange . We have chooks to free range in the little orchard, ducks are next just finished up the start of there coupe , we are totally organic in this system I’ve been a certified organic farmer for many years and will always grow our food in this way , we have the same types of pest to deal with but I always tell my kids at least out pest bugs are eating organic so they must be tasty to the good bugs that we attract to the I call it my Farden farm garden , I come off a very large property of 9000 acres my wife says you can take the boy from the farm but can’t take the farm out of the boy . I’ll get outside in a bit to take some pics maybe some of you will do the same , in this trying times I think food and water security is paramount.....
Sounds like a proper a real good thing u got there od i wish I got into horticulture way back but I only got growing about 10 years ago and I will grow till I get that watering can prised from my cold dead fingers peace ✌️ ps i dig the war is ugly is that u roy i know he says that on dread in a Babylon top album one of the best ever 80s I think 💭 the music of our art is roots music which recalls the history and the judgment that is to come presenting Misty in roots 1979 Rasta best live album ever it was John peels fav as well just thought 💭 I would chuck that in not that any one ☝️ is the least bit interested never mind I’ll have to go get some new things for me a little bit of weed should sort me right out peace ✌️ out

Lookin good OD. Amazing what you can you with a bit of hard work and other people's rubbish. I love your philosophy.
How do you find keeping ducks? I have been thinking about getting some, have heard duck eggs are the best but never tried one.

100% dread is that period of reggae music and also England contributed to the great music 🎧 with lovers rock and gained the respect of the Jamaican people which is a great honour for sure started in the West London area round Acton neesdan i used to live that way for a good while good days and I mean that it was the best time for me i was 20 in 86 so much of my growing up was in the 80s funny times in the 80s lots of racial tension and all that bs very uniform oriented people all had a fashion i was a skinhead by the way not a racist one i was into my reggae music big time it was mostly a load of idiots who were in the mix not welcome by the majority of the people who were at the gigs and I went to a good few of them peace ✌️ hope to talk more to you
