They say it helps

Good because I made a little booboo and the light kicked off while I was getting the timer ready for tomorrow.

So they will actually get a full 24 hours of darkness and then the light will kick back on at 8pm tomorrow night.

Very interested to see how much they stretch over the next 2-3 weeks :)

Cant wait to see and smell the beautiful flowers

awww im such a noob

Kind of the boring time I guess.... They have now been in Flower for a couple days. I did take the net back off for some silly reason.

Well I took the net off so I could more easily vac' up the runoff water and being able to move the plants around makes that much easier. I will likely slide it back down in a day or two. As a new grower I feel like the net is hurting the plant lol

I would be using the net. Bend and weave. Make the tallest branches go to the outside. Bend bend bend

Thanks... I dont really like how big the squares are on this net either but hey, beginner's mistakes. Trial and Error. I have learned so much already.

I am already looking forward to a) being done with this grow and having the rewards of my labor and b) my next grow setup. There are definitely areas and room for improvements!

For the Watering yesterday--- I did give them General Organics BioThrive Bloom for the very first time. I just did the "Light Feeding," I mix up 5-gallons at a time, so once that is gone (2 feeds) then ill move up to "heavy feedings," most likely.

Please keep the Feedback coming!

I was using the net but to be honest, the plants are pretty much doing on their own naturally what I would be doing with the net. Once they "stretch" a bit more I will definitely be forced to use the net probably but my biggest fears with using the net right now is somehow hurting the plant.

The stems are getting nice and strong! And so far the leaves have not shown any signs of discoloration or stress :fingerscrossed:

The bottom branches should be just as high as the top ones. Bending will strengthen branches

They basically are. I was going to put in a couple of bamboo stakes to help hold a couple branches up but they dont need it either. At least for the time being the plants are doing their thing "El Natural"

Each plant only has like 6 "branches,"... this is why I didnt defoliate any more either.

Thanks man, I have not measured them in a good week but I would guess they are around 16''... 2 are slightly taller, and 1 is a shorty (shes sitting on 3'' bricks lol)

I cant wait to start seeing some hairs and some buds forming! I know I got a couple weeks but im excited to start seeing my hard work pay off.

Right now is when I'd be blasting them with as much light and nutes as they can handle.

I added the General Organics BioThrive Bloom (I have Grow for Veg and Bloom for Flower but never ended up using the Veg at all, just ran with the FFOF) to my feedings.

They are on the 12/12 Cycle under the 315W CMH.. my light doesnt have different intensity settings. Well it might if I buy the 250$ controller that attaches to the LUXX Light.

Day 36. Flower Day 4.

I trimmed a lot of undergrowth off last night. A lot of fan leafs. Hopefully the ladies wont mind too much. Im hoping taking those lower leafs will stop them from wasting energy....

I cant wait til I actually start seeing some signs of Flowering....

I wish I could get better pictures. I will try to get some at canopy level. I measured the plants as well. They are mostly coming in around 15-16"

I would use a lux meter and move the light to 40k or so if it's not already. For nutes a little grow mixed with bloom first 4 weeks of flower helps.

nah they have plenty of leaves - from what i read and watched, if the leaves are being blocked by others, its safe to say they can go.

Day 36-37... Flower Day 4-5

Trying to make use of the net to make room for more of the plants... I still feel bad bending the ladies around sometimes haha

Overall I think everything is okay so far?

Anyone seeing anything a newbie is missing?

At this point, I would keep bending and weaving so nothing is more than about 2" above the net. looks good.

Thank you. That is basically my plan.... As a newbie I am still very cautious and worried when it comes to bending the branches around. But im doing my best haha

I was going to kind of slide the net up as the plants grow... Use it to support the extra weight... Stopping at a certain point though, maybe go up another 3-5".

I have noticed that the plants are trying to grow new fan leafs and new growth low down on the plants... Should I cut this off before the plant wastes energy producing leafs down low? Or just let them go for now and just continue to groom as needed?
