I have a question... I have the same size area as you and would be interested in doing this set up. First question is could you provide a parts list? Is there anything you would change and do differently about the pumps or any of the equiptment? or feeding schedule? Do you think a greater harvest would arise from five lights and four plants instead since there is equal amount of light distribution? Thanks I really appreciate it. I want to get this going now! I have most of the lights and the co2 set up already. All I need is a couple more lights and to build the system. Thanks in advance I really appreciate it.

hi bro
the shopping list is in the sticky section. Some might say to change this or that but i try to provide a tried and tested list... the only thing that varies is the nutes but if you read the nute schedule this is what i used for the 42 pound harvest.

Hey just wanted to let people know I used House and Garden Roots excel, and the algen, with bad results. If you are using a regen blower with silica air diffusers it some how causes those additives to create a brown algae. It messed up my plants roots within two days of using after I moved them to my big room from my e and f tables. I believe it must be due to the massive air amounts. I used it my last run when I only had rubber diffuser and the plants were fine but this time in my e and f table and also my mini res's brown algae growth was immediate. I know you used those products DD but there no good with regen blowers

Yo dizzle whats your humidity at? Are you using a fogger to keep humidity high or just keeping it low like DD does. Peace Merry Xmas

I use in and out vents so i'm at the mercey of god. But my humidity is pretty much 40-50%, maybe a little higher with lights out. I dont have a ton of tree growing experience but doubleds keeps his around 40-50% and he doesnt suffer, and I havent noticed any ill effects from its not being crazy high. merryxmas

I have checked out the DIY forum and was interested in the equipment you ran since its a far smaller scale. For instance.... do you feel that your water chiller suffices for a 70 gallon reservoir since you are running a 1/4 generator? what about your water pumps and air pump? I know you are running different nutrients but what type of cost is there compared to a ten or more light grow? I am trying to get everything lined up so I can allocate the right amount of funds for certain things and well make sure I cover everything! thanks again.

DD's DIy sets the guild lines, every 5 buckets get a 1800gph pump, the air pumps up to you pondmaster 100 is a good choice IMO. my water never goes above 68 so 1/4 is plenty, the buckets are much lower than the lights so not causing them to heat up much, the chiller turns on for a couple minutes a day at most. i thought this system was cheap to put together, maybe $1200 bucks.
not sure what your saying about teh nutes? but i spend about $300 a turn, $130 floranova, $100 koolbloom, $160 floralicous plus, I havent even used half of these bottles, and floralicous plus i've used about 1/25th the bottle

Hey dizzle, would you build the cages bigger next time or just flower sooner? I just finished my run with those damn yo-yos and won't be using them again.

If you run the c99, i'd do a full run to find a mom first. You'll run into a bit of variation with the flower times, yield and potency. I'm waiting for a little cure time before I make a decision on which ones to keep. There's one I really like so far :) Goes straight to your head and can be a bit much if you smoke too much, too fast lol

no, the cages are perfect size. I have really only had to tie a few branches as of yet. but its super easy, they sell that green twisttie roll, so you just tie the branches to the cages. At first I thought i would flower sooner, but then i realize i was trying to fill the room. i guess its just overwhelming at first because we are used to tiny plants. I would do it all again exactly the same.

i forgot you were running that, yea finding a mom is a bitch, I just did it with a jillybean and agent orange. how do you think it yeilds?

they have outgrown their cages but I will say that the branches on these things are like bamboo stakes, I was wondering if they would be weak due to how fast they grew. you guys will be amazed at how solid the cages make everything.

I dont think 2per light is going to be very tough up in here, i have some masterkush that is about 10inch tall right now thats going to veg for another 4weeks before they go into the buckets, should be epic
