Necrotic peppering is indicative of calcium deficiency. You want your ph to rise and your ppms to lower. Just add nutrients to bring both back. (usually) Might have to add some ph down here and there.

What about keeping a transition blend with the flora grow series. Im using equal parts, just as I do with seedlings and transition phase. I plan to switch them to flower at day 30, in 11 more days. I figured id just leave it on the transition blend for the first month, then flip it, and on that day put it to a bloom blend, basically ignoring the grow blend all together. I would have had to wait an additional 10 days before I could flip due to res change frequency's and having to transition to bloom blend.

When I used to use GH, I used lucas formula-8mls bloom plus 16mls micro or flora nova bloom veg through flower. Both have ample magnesium and calcium for the most strains. I ditched the veg formulas a while ago. In my experience the bloom formulas had ample nitrogen. I never experimented with the three parts formula.

Can someone tell me if its ok to switch nutrients? Im using the GH 3 part flora series, I have to add calmag. 4 different additives, then I dilute. I think it would be easier to grow with the GH nova series. I can go drive and grab 2 bottles right now. Will I have to add calmag still? Im just sick of trying to guess the blend.

I am having issues when I make up a batch. The res holds 18 gallons. If I hit a 600ppm with my 18 gallon, then dilute to 300, I think its too much dilution and thats where im getting my calmag issues. I see most growers on grow diaries using 3.79mg of calmag at dang near every stage. So if I make up 18 gallons, then dilute x3, im down to 1.25 ml calmag per gallon. .

Currently I make up 10 gallons. then dilute to 18 gallons so I dont have lots of extra nutrients. My question is should I add calmag at 10 gallons then dilute to 18, or make calmag at 18 gallons? Then what, I want agressive veg so i want 2 parts micro, 3 parts grow, 1 part micro. If I make these up to 18 gallons im always way over, if I make them up to 10 gallons I feel the dilution will decrease them.

I want to start low, im going to do 3.79 calmag, 2ml micro, 3ml grow, 1ml bloom, and 2ml hydroguard?

If I just go by the nova series right now, how much easier will this be on me and my plants?

PPM on lil photos is 300. PPM on big auto is 850.

10 day res change is too long for the dwc. Had a slime build up. Washed and rinsed with tap and we should be good. Ill try 6 day res changes, which is about the same as my dwc. Im assuming its light leak causing Algie. Is there and additive that can reduce that? I cant light proof it until these are done and I tear it all apart again.

So here are some pictures of my progress. Everything is stable and looking good in my opinion.

I am wanting to flip my lights to 12/12 possibly today. My auto is starting to flower, and I feel this will help it flower easier. I also don't want the photos to over crowd the auto or vice versa. I think the auto is already too big lol.

I am currently in veg nutes on the photos. How long do I need to run transition nutes before flipping? Would I be good to change lights and transition blend today.. Then in like 4 days change to bloom blend? Do I need the transition blend?

Tent has been on 12/12 for 7 days. Large auto ppm is 950ppm on bloom blend. Small photos are at 375ppm on transition blend. Ph stays between 5.6 and 5.7. Will be switching them to bloom blend tomorrow night and cleaning res. Lots of algae buildup in the rdwc system. I'm assuming light leaks but until this grow is done, I won't be able to light proof it better. I plan on installing foam board and only doing 2 plants in it next go.

Currently mentally planning an addition 4x4 grow fallponics with 4 plants on 1000watt mh and hps. Should be built within 30 days.

Entering week 3 of flower, I think. I 12/12 the tent on 4-13-21.

Rdwc is entering week 7 from seed.
Dwc is entering week 13 from seed.

Ppm on Dwc is 1050 and stable.
Ppm on rdwc is 475 and stable. Both plants are on the same trio blend just at different concentrates.

Pretty slow going around here.. Just waiting

Had some light burn last week when testing max par lol.. It only lasted for like 8hrs before I noticed it was too much. But other than that, it's growing fast. I'm happy.

I could have went soil lol.

Instead I try to combine an auto with photos while operating two different hydro systems while training 3 different strains.

Honestly I feel like I've learned too much different shit in the last 4 months, sometimes helping others fix issues. All without ever growing anything before lol.. Strait to this dumb shit.

Im curious as to where I'll be in a few years given the rec push :) I can easily get permits and setup legit shop if it's cheap enough and permits are available.

Learning lots is good... will make you a better grower. That's why I started branching out of hydro. I'm pretty set on coco now but I may toss a aeroponic system together in the future since I have most everything for it.

Looking very nice... light is good but I think they can handle a tiny bit more... be very cautious only very small increases until you see a bit of light stress then hold a day or 2 and see if they adjust or you need to back it off.

This is only if you want to try to push them hard... and can bring about some issues as the more ya push the more dialed in they need to be to handle it. So don't go nuts.

Giving this tube a try lol.. Damn ballast isn't as adjustable as I thought. Min is 600w max is 1000. Might be too much for seedlings, only one way to find out lol..

Thanks, working on a 4x8 top feed rdwc room. I'm so lazy that I don't see me starting the seeds for another week or 2 lol.. Room has along way to go.. Then environmental stability testing at max and min light and air flow. . Uhh..
