I use food grade Diatomaceous Earth powder on my plants, its great for bugs and it's great for the soil. Just sprinkle some on the leaves, the leaves should be wet so the DE will stick to the leaves.

OK. Veg growth may pick up a little since with that extra drainage you'll be watering more often.

Do you mix any in with soil? I was going to do it for silica and other things. I have some DE. Just curious how much you'd use. Has it ever affected your leaves negatively for any reason?

Yes you can mix it in with the soil, it's safe and recommended. Search the internet. You'll find some great resources on DE and Silica etc. As for quantities I'm sure you can use a cup of it in the soil per 5 gallons minimum. For me I'm just using it on my leaves to protect against insects. Remember to use food grade DE.

Idk ..I'm starting to have some issues with the leaves, even the new baby leaves sprouting up...the tips are browning..but it's still pushing to grow...it's pretty scary! I do have a seedling growing..and I'm gonna let that one grow naturally with no cutting ...see how it does! I'm new to this so it's all a learning experience! What to do.. what not to do..etc..it sucks..I just wish I knew wtf I was doing!!! I get so attached to my plants so when they don't work out I feel so disappointed!!

I'll definitely reply with some pix tomorrow, it's too dark to get a good shot and phone is low.. I'm just sad about it! I thought it was pests, now I think the soap solution I used made it worse! I'm just hoping for the best!

If you sprayed them with something, then you need to wash it off. Plants breathe thru their leaves. Sprays block the pores and the plant can't breathe.

Is my plant a goner???? these leaves are dying on me over here! How do I keep my new baby from going through this?!?!? I know what I'm not going to do! It just keeps getting worse every day!🥺

@jcas004 What type of soil are you using? And what nutrients? Also check your pH levels. Is this an indoor grow?

What and how often you water?
What and how often you feed it?
What kind of light? Natural sun only? LED? Mixed types?

Does my plant have Rust Fungus? I didn't notice rubbing off on my fingers and it's spreading..and I have yet to be able to determine the sex..this morning I noticed some seriously interesting growth with round leaves?!?! Is my plant a Goner...m/f..what is happening!?!

The brown looks like a deficiency. Possible phosphorus. Make sure your soil isn't too wet.
