Update 6/26:

I removed the lower 90 degree clips but I kept the top ones and added a trellis net. The P.H is staying between 5.8-6.0. I like to keep her in that range and the PPM’s are about 330 or so. Seems like she likes it there.

just an update, she looks great. I took off the 90 degree clips and using the trellis net. P.H is fine and so are PPM’s. I plan on flipping her after July 4th since I won’t be around too much over the weekend

Swapped her to flower yesterday, these are some pics after the lights came on. I have a question and that question is, should I defoliate more? I was waiting for her to stretch to her ending length before removing anything else .

I personally strip my plants pretty bare right before i flip them. almost all fan leaves that aren't at the tips of branches i end up taking off unless they aren't blocking any budsites. and then i defoliate them again 2-3 weeks into flower

I swapped her on The 4th of July to flower so she’s about only 5 days in. She has stretched a little
But nothing crazy yet, waiting for her to really take with stretch in the next week or so.

PPM’s sitting around 500-550 seems to be the range she likes. Also PH anywhere from 5.8-6.3 I like to Keep her.

I plan on defoliating soon once she stretches more. Today here on the east coast we are getting hit with some serious rain which brings 100% humidity. I forgot to turn the ac on in the house to help with that and the tent RH got up to 78% which I do not like. Trying to keep it Around 65% and lower for flower which is hard in my apt.

But other than that she is looking good.

I’m trying to figure out how much I’ll get out of her, so I can order some containers. On my first grow ever I got 3.5 ounces not knowing what to do. I had less colas on my first grow also (Pics below). what do you guys think on my 2nd grow what my total Amount will be

just did my Rez change till next week. PPM’s close to 700 now and PH at 5.8-6.3. We’ll see how she likes these ppm settings

Update 6/19:

I am 2 weeks into flower and everything is going well. The tent temp gets a little hot sometimes with temps hitting 81F but usually stays around 75-78f. Humidity sits usually at about 58-60%. I think I might defoliate a little more but taking my time with it.

PPM’s are around 400 which is where she seems to like it right now and PH is around 6.0-6.2. It’s crazy how big she gets every single day now.

Rez change. On the next change or when I make a new batch of nutrient water I plan on raising it a little bit.

she’s looking good, defoliated and got rid of some small sites that weren’t getting any light or not enough.

the PPM’s still climb from like 350 to 420 and ph drops from 6.0 down to 5.5 overnight. ( 12am-12pm) when lights are off. Not sure how to really fix it. I added water to drop the PPM’s and to raise the ph.

I did a Rez change where the max PPM’s were 500 then I added cal mag.

If your ppms are climbing your overfeeding it. I hate to be redundant if I've said it here before, but are you sure your ppm meter is accurate? Do you use ppm calibration solution? I can test my meter...

It also looks like your getting slight root rot/clumping at the top of the root mass, probibaly where it's not under water. I kept my Dwc water level at the bottom of netpot.

As for all that I said, you will be fine doing what your doing.. Just make sure your ppm slowly drops, not increases. Shits looking good regardless cause you are on top of it... Eventually you will become exhausted lol.. I went 2 days without even opening my tent there towards the end.. So annoying.. I got. Other shit to do lol

The pic of the root rot you are referring too is root staining I believe. I keep the water 1” under the net pot always because I’m scared of root rot happening and from what I have read they say to keep it 1 inch below pot.

ya the climbing is crazy how she climbs in PPM’s. My tap water is 160ppm on its own so if she’s climbing from 350-420 overnight then I need to drop my nutrient mixture to 300-400 max. I had it at 500. Seems low for flower but I guess she knows what she needs.

I can’t raise my lights anymore either she is at the max. So hopefully she doesn’t get to much taller or else I’ll have some light burns and bleaching

Have you checked your ppm meter with ppm calibration solution? It's cheap at any hydro store. If you have already.. What scale are you using?

update 7/26: she looks good. Noting has changed much. She is getting thicker tho and starting to smell when close to her.
