It's all indoor in normal environment with AC and dehumidifier,I focused on the leaf and floor temp only.
but it's summer now, so I don't have extra room to do proper cure.

My dog used to live in solo bedroom, but now it only lives in the bathroom, lol
Really cool looking strain. Ok, I wasn't understanding your situation. I guess it came down to the bud, or thr dog.lol.
That was nice of the dog. Hopefully he likes good colorful smoke?
How is the buzz on that, cause bag appeal is as good as it gets.
11 weeks is a pretty long flower time considering it's not a haze. It looks like they stayed healthy.
Would it be possible to take a section of your grow space, and use it for drying for a few days, and then spread the plants out through the room once dried?
I'm not gonna suggest using the bathroom. Sounds like the dog sacrificed enough

I dried and cured my bud using the 60/60 method for 14 days and that is it!
I also was worried about long term storage so I bought a small refrigerator with temp settings so I could adjust.
After placing my buds in vacuum jars they held 60-62% on their own.
after a few days added the bovita rh packs along with mini hygrometers and on lowest setting put my 20 ounces in the fridge.
They have been there 3 months now, bud looks amazing, tastes fresh!
I did the same thing before, keeping it at 14 days, but I found that if u increase it by 3-4 days, U don't even need to curing it,

Appreciate your help, man
Keep them completely in the dark at all times and inside a glass jar. I keep mine in the living room inside a free foam bag zipped up and the weed is happy to be near the air con during the day and then off at night. I use all manner and kind of glass jars because they work great and buy those terpene preserving packs; IMHO best 21st century. There must be 50 other spins and there is a thread about this topic

After reading your previous thread, I decided to give it a try "cut N" in 5 and a half weeks, which is now in day 4, week 8)
Nice! The colors are looking good, and you won't have to worry about any "hey" flavor, or smell. The only N my plants will get is from what's in the calmag, and it will use everything stored up.
I wouldn't say my plants look in good health at harvest. They look more like it's the end of fall. If you've ever had any harshness, or tbat hey smell, you don't have to worry about this for thess.
Here's how my plant's usually look around
When it's a single plant for personal use I harvest in stages, as I'll get 3vvery different effects. The 1st pic is probably around where you are now. That last pic is after most of the buds were taken, and about 30% cloudy, and 70% amber. With the N cut early, the plants aren't very pretty, but the buds have real nice color, tastes great as soon as it's dry, and even the trim isn't as bad.
BUT DAM, that those blue buds ya got look fantastic!!!

harvest.

A wise old hippy showed me a sure way to know when buds are ready for the curing process to begin. Right before he passed me his grow bible to read. Slow dry with fans blowing just enough to circulate the air. To further reduce chance of mold setting in. Slow drying is best, but its personal preference.

Once buds start getting crispy, and become less and less spongy.

Starting with some of the smaller ones, try bending the stems. If they are still pliable and don't make a clean snap. It isn't ready to jar. Not until the stems crack and make a clean break.

Thats the method I followed since day one. Its never steered me wrong in about 15 years of growing.

Once dry. Then into loosely packed glass mason jars to begin the curing process.

I like using large gallon jars. Anything more than 2 cases or more of mason jars becomes tedious. Burping lids on jars 3 - 4 times a day does get tedious. Labor of love or not.

Agree. Slowly dry, with just enough wind, but unfortunately that's not an option for him.

10 4.

Everything can use discretion. when it doesn't seem like enough wind blow harder.

Back on to the other note, the stem test check for dryness. If its too humid that could be a tricky one. Buds will follow room temps/humidity and you can only get them so dry. even if a mechanical dryer is used they will return to that level in a matter of no time. Unless you get into those freeze drying methods. Those are out of my rhelm of knowledge.

I tried storing weed with a 6 month cure on it in a freezer. I wouldnt typically do that again unless storage temps were a factor. IMHO it stores best in a cool dark place in the crawl space of the basement. It keeps perfect and even gets better with more age. like fine wine with more time the better it becomes.

Unlike wine it pot will drop off. Pot has a much shorter shelf life. I had pot that reached 2 - 2.5 years and it was still nice. Hella smooth nice.

Once again I agree!
The branch will snap when it's well past time to put it in a jar. That's just a poor way to judge imo. I want some moisture in the stems. Not much, but enough to where the moisture will redistribute to the buds Once in a jar for 12-18 hours. I'll dump out all the jars again, and let it get a light breeze on it for 30-45 min. I'll do this 4-6 times a day IF I'm going for tipy top shelf, personal bud. It may take 3 weeks before I'm ready to store for a day, or two, and then do it over until I have the moisture content I want.
I've had very good success with long term storage.
I searched, and searched for true scientific studies on how long it takes before THC/cannabinoids will begin to degrade. Although it's the general concensus that 2 years is the max before it degrades, I only found 1 scientific study on the topic period, and the bud was not stored well at all. Still, after 5 years, the buds only lost around 30% of its potency.
I'm not going to get into my own experience, but I've had excellent long term storage success. Jars air tight, put in a cool, absolutely 100% dark area.
I'll give an example of a Cheese strain I grew. It smelt fruity the entire time it grew, and the entire time I went through my curing process. It was finally ready to store. 6 months later, it smelt just like Parmigiano. I don't know exactly when the changevof smell took place, but it worked. Thoes smells was an exception, as that's the only time I had such a drastic change.
As for getting they hey smell, and taste, with a good long flush, and cutting way way down on the N (say at week 4 of an 8, or 9 week strain) that smell shouldn't occur.
I probably should have started my own thread on the issue. My apologies for hijacking

If I wasn't clear enough, to break. not snap, yeah Ive taken them to the over dry snapping point after they got dropped lost and forgotten some place like in a drawer even longer.

to break is funny. to snap now then thats too funny, or was it said not funny enough? at any rate you don't want that.

I miss the old gardenscure, sigh.

I had a friend way back in the, and he'd always store his bud in the fridge. It was the best bud around by far. It was an original White Rhino from the late 90's.
Man you got a nice hookup. I haven't seen Thia around...idk when? I guess when The Dead was alive
Actually, the new Thai, I've been working on came straight from the source around (Prachuap Khiri Khan) overseas. Big shout out to sambaptai for this Wild Thai Landrace. Can't wait to see her on all her glory, but she'll probably flower for 20 weeks would be my guess.

Some hangers dried off a tester 600 hps SCROG. I can't recall the cross. I need to start putting pics, and descriptions with the seeds I'm not too familiar with. Looks like it was a pretty easy trim, nor did it lose too much weight.
And the last was a Choc X i believe?
