Humidity is worryin me, not so much durin the daylight but after dark when things cool down the ac doesn’t run as much and the humidity is 70% or higher in the mornin. Invested in a good dehumidifier

That dehumidifier is a beast! I bet it will do the job and then some, or like you said, your whole house.

Just a quick check in today not much time, pluck a few leaves and give em a smooch. Didn’t get a mornin check on the humidy life interrupted yet again thats ok tomorrow’s another dayView attachment 1162232
As an afterthought I could have removed the battery from my thermometer/humidity meter and reset the high/low event recording function and gotten the results of adding the dehumidifier that way. Wadda want I AM kind of a stoner ya know

Gettin all thinky about how to proceed, dedicated room or a tent to go in that room which will still require ventilation which means mess with the window or hack a hole in the wall, or ceiling. Light infiltration will also require messin with the window unless a tent is involved. Ac in the window with a tent means a lung room has been created. Do I need to fill a swimmin pool with buds or stay the course I’ve “grown” into and pop out 1 crop a year and be done with it for a while. I do love growin but its a time consuming endeavor I find to be less stressful if I step away for a while after the chop. Thinky thinky thinky

That's a pretty big decision.

Prior to doing any growing I would have told you I wanted a dedicated grow room, but I'm not even done with my first grow and I know I'd rather stick with a tent. Very personal decision though so I applaud your choice whatever it may be.

... but a swimming pool filled with buds you say? 🤔

You being in your horticultural infancy, although a prodigy you are, will probly want a few grows close together in order to hone your skills. I kinda like where I am and the relative speed at which I can make it happen then put everything away for a while. Sales have never entered my mind I don’t want the hassle over a few bucks. I WOULD consider a job at someone elses larger commercial grow though, experiance necessary I would think

Prodigy? I am literally just reading labels off of bags and spreadsheets and following directions. If my grow turns out okay I give the credit to you guys and Lady Luck.

I think going forward one grow a year will be fine for me, but I do wish the timing could work out so that I could do a Sativa run with different training immediately after this one. And yeah, a job in the industry could be fun, but that's also how I ruined my last hobby.

In addition to reading everything I also called the phone number on anything product I have or thought of usin, the guy at General Hydroponics was cool as hell just substitute the word tomatoes for weed and I thought he would talk my ear off with information

Pots were very light, gave em another feedin instead of water and boy did they like that! I saturate the hell out of em and they are dryin out in a couple if days that may explain the rise in humidity, I read that they only use 10% of the water they take up the rest is transpired through the plant into the atmosphere

Hmmm
I’m high but ….
If the plants are transpiring the water through them
Would that not be using the water ?????
Lol
✌️
😁😁😁

Apparently I have been doin the right thing thanks to my ability to copiously water to a great deal of runoff every time, I’m glad I read this as flushing has always been a roadblock to the quality of my final product. Its not so much removing nutes from the plant its seems to be forcing the plant to use up their reserves in the final stages. A lot of this depends on the grow media it seems. Removing excess nitrogen seems to be the goal. Yellowing leaves at the correct time seems to be the main indicator, the plant moves nitrogen from the lower leaves to the canopy during late flower causing them to start to yellow. If this doesn’t occure that indicates there is still too much nitrogen available to the plant and flushing is needed. It would seem as though I have been flushing all along making the flower nutes more available and getting rid of excess nutes the plant no longer requires in high amounts. Also this little article written by the ultimate authority on growin pot solidifies the need to provide sufficient cal/mag during all phases of growth as it ultimately enhances the flower production at the end. Think I’m gonna have to start relyin on Ed and his publications, which I do happen to own, real books imagine that, and stop readin too much from the internet. His experience has gotta have more merit than grow sites full of advertising run by entrepreneurs lookin to make a buck. I like the social aspect but I often question the information, everybody has their own way of doin things and the line between wrong and right is often way too blurry, as is the opinions of the final product. I aint no youngster and over the years I have smoked a lot of pot, some good and some not so much, have tried growin numerous times with some limited success that was far overshadowed by miserable failure. Most of my failures were due to not followin my gut instincts and instead following sketchy information gleaned from the internet because at some point I began to second guess myself. Well fuck that I can get through a grow now without Instruction or advise and that would have happened sooner had I trusted myself more and the internet much much less. I don’t always word things correctly, I am a mechanic not a chemist and I look at things that way. I try to describe things simply, in my own words, as I understand them. If that doesn’t match up with the internet thats just too fuckin bad
