Prodigy? I am literally just reading labels off of bags and spreadsheets and following directions. If my grow turns out okay I give the credit to you guys and Lady Luck.

I think going forward one grow a year will be fine for me, but I do wish the timing could work out so that I could do a Sativa run with different training immediately after this one. And yeah, a job in the industry could be fun, but that's also how I ruined my last hobby.

In your favor is the fact that you have the ability to read and follow directions, Somethin 99% of noobs don’t even consider till all they have is little half dead twig then its HELP!

Well said, sir! I think the internet is like a Swiss Army Knife or a Leatherman. Sure, its packed with stuff you can use, but you won't actually use most of it, it can only get you so far, and its rarely the best tool for the job.

I think the missing component for many is problem-solving and critical thinking, traits I'm sure you have in spades with your years doing mechanical work. Information is great, but being able to sort through that information, process it, and then follow through with reasoned action is just as important. Without that, the internet is a fricken mine field.

Yes thats correct, don’t look at my netting as a good example it was my first attempt and wasn’t what I should have done. In other words I screwed the pooch on that one

I'm glad to be rid of mine as well, most have been given away, and I've still got 2 units back there. Was considering salvaging the power supplies... But even that will be limited useful. I paid almost $500 for the one... sitting there doing nothing.

I can’t say if it’s true, but someone posted that a combination of the white LEDs and a blurple seemed to provide the best yield for him. Or best quality. Or both, idk.

I can tell as soon as I walk through the door its waterin time just from the smell. they really put up a stink when the pots start to get dry. Gettin some brown hairs but still poppin out nice new white ones, believe I’ll slip in another feeding at the next water I’ve been on the weak side at 850 ppm probly drop that some 650 ppm or so. Still got some time. The green crack it is said is ready around 8 weeks the sour diesel may go 10 but the trics will tell. This is a tough part of this decisions decisions. Pots were very light, gave em another feedin instead of water and boy did they like that! I saturate the hell out of em and they are dryin out in a couple if days

that may explain the rise in humidity, I read that they only use 10% of the water they take up the rest is transpired through the plant into the atmosphere

This concerns me. I’m not yet growing but will have a winter grow (tent) in the spare bedroom. I thought my current plan of venting the tent into the room would allow the humidity to migrate throughout the home central air system. That, combined with naturally low winter humidity, would mean I could ignore humidity as a problem at least for the coming first grow. Am I wishful thinking?

Not sure of the brand I’m not close by to it, came from tru value hardware 32 pint was $250 if that tells you anything.

I made one out if an old wall mounted water cooler a long time ago, evaporator coil and condenser coil mounted so the fan pulls warm air from the condenser over the cold evaporator producing condensation that drips off and away
