I live pretty far north as well and the standard has always been to run indicas that will finish in time to beat our cold fall months. If you are set on auto s and are planting them to line up with a fall harvest anyway I would still say focus on quicker indicas.

but u still can buy it 😂
Yes you can still source and buy it here but it is not registered as a pesticide. There are many debates on the status of this stuff; whether it’s usable in the garden or not. Some people even use it for cooking.
From what I’ve read, it is bad for the kidneys and the lungs. But the good news for you is it does not cause cancer!
Just remember; the dose makes the poison.
Enjoy!

Look into SLF-100 from cccultivation.ca
I’ve recently switched and haven’t seen I fly since. All natural and can be used with any nutes doesn’t change ph of solution. No I don’t work for them but one very happy customer

8weeks into flower neem oil isn't what you need...too close to harvest your room your house will reek its the shit for bugs in veg but not in flower it will poison you...its nasty stuff stinks like fk and stays seemingly embedded in your room.
Im on day 8 of flower and wanted to use a lite spray as an antifungal and to keep the gnats away. I battled them throughout veg and sticky traps finished em off but I don't want to risk them coming back...Do you think its okay to use this early? Im going to flush last week and a half or 2 weeks...

Neem oil will stick to your buds and I doubt it will disappear after flushing. I think it will linger and you'll taste it in your harvest. It's nasty shit.

If no buds have appeared yet you may get away with using it but I'd not do it myself. I'd water spray the fk out of them with my pressure sprayers and blast them off daily if I had to. wipe the leaves if there aren't too many to deal with.

The bugs are hard to deal with in flower.....I'd think of re-vegging for another 2-3 weeks then you can hit them with neem and hit them hard kill them all, their babies, grand kids, eggs and all by spraying it 3 times over a week. Then another week or 2 before returning to flower....just a thought.

Wash your buds afterwards regardless of your decisions on how to deal with them

Im on day 9 of flower now, and sprayed a LITE myst of 1tsp per liter in a spray bottle yesterday, day 8...
No buds yet AT ALL, just hairs and the very beginning signs of flower formation are showing...I think I caught em' just in time, any later in flower would have been an issue as you said. Thx so much for the suggestion and advice bro, as a first time grower its not the easiest to knoe what to do in certain situations. I can't IMAGINE growing before the internet. It saves me!

I'd tried to go gentle at first using 3-5 ml/L Rosemary & lemon essential oils but it just made them mad and they wouldn't die. I used 8-9 ml per liter of Neem oil and I used 1 gallon on 2 plants...I took these outdoors and sprayed them down 3 times. Stunk for a month but it killed them all

Chronic 3 weeks into flower. 6 weeks to go. Georgian Bay grow.
I love it.....Fantastic grow !! We are allowed to grow 4 plants...This would make our polititions queasy. I see the rule makers having nightmares after looking at plants like that. I hope you get great weather to finish her.

I'm down on the Atlantic and its already cold and damp in the mornings. My large outdoor buds deteriorated before my eyes 20 yrs ago with BR ( I don't even want to say it) at about 6 weeks they could no longer take it. I'm just talking about my 3 gallon container plants not your monster. That was years ago but I can't count on our weather here to cooperate with my grows so I've basically an indoor grower now.

Good luck I'll be watching your posts...

I keep seeing people using pots as large as yours for indoor grows. Is that a 10 gallon pot you're using? You got a lot of growth out of such a small pot. I see having too big a pot as a waste and I think it would add difficulty in growing. I've believed in pot size to plant size and I'd have a tough time with small plants in large pots knowing when to water, how much to fertilize and I think too large a pot takes too long to dry.

It looks like you nailed it, nice job.

Thanks, i am using a 16 gallon (64 litre) pot purchased at Walmart. I agree that too big of a pot is a waste. I germinated in mid February, she spent one week in a solo cup, transplanted to a six litre pot for 3 weeks, transplanted to a 23 litre nursery pot until first week of june than tranplanted to this 64 litre pot. Since she has been in this pot, i have watered her with 6 litres daily between june to mid july. 10-12 litres daily since then.
Now that the cooler weather is upon us i have dropped the water down to 8 litres daily.
This year i have switched to Dutch Science Organic Nutrients. Nothing but positive results.
At the moment, i am taking care of a wpm issue. Humidity in Southern Ontario wreaks havoc plants.

Thanks. My wife would only allow one on the deck. I wish i could have 4 on the go. Maybe one day, lol.
If politicians could lay eyes on some of the cannabeasts being grown nationwide, they most certainly would have nightmares.. My lady will need until mid October for a full finish. But with Southern Ontario humidity and October rainfall, my fingers are crossed ever so tightly that she makes it. Most likely will have to build a shelter for her to finish. So far, no bug issues, only slight wpm (humidity) which is being taken care of with a weekly spray of baking soda/water. What strains are being grown on the east cost that can finish in time given your climate?.

i’m in southern ontario, i know of 6 gelato dreams being grown in this area, all 7ft or bigger including mine and none have any issues and looks like a first week of october finish.,
wpm that affects marijuana here in north america is one strain and only affects marijuana, has nothing to do with humidity/rain. it will attack any marijuana plant that is weak/prone in defending it.,

I have always thought that wpm was due to humidity, lack of air flow, overwatering and genetics.
Those Gelato Dreams must be a sight to behold.
