Hi all, I wanted to post a journal for my newest grow for those interested (and for me to track). I recently got contacted by Spider Farmer for a light review at the same time I won the SE 5000 and I really wanted the SE 7000 for my 5x5 tent. As such, I'll be running the Spider Farmer SE 7000 this run and saving the the SE 5000 for my upcoming veg or mom tent. I'm doing two strains, Dark & Stormy by Tiki Madman and Clearwater as well as Katsu Pupil by Katsu Seeds. The rest of my setup is as follows:

Vivosun 5x5x7 grow tent (until I can upgrade)
AC infinity 6" exhaust fan
Hurricane 4" intake fan
Hurricane and Honeywell fans in tent
FloraFlex auto watering and drainage system
Straight coco, no perlite
Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco (just because I had some left over but next run I'll switch to a more cost effective brand).

This round is about experimenting a bit, locking in vpd a bit better, high frequency fertigation, some experimenting and most of all, growing some fire!

Super happy to be here learning with everyone, thank you to everyone who has helped along the way and continues to do so, here we go!

Sept 19.
Trying out FloraFlex's Incubator Dome. I typically prefer sprouting in paper towel and solo cups but wanted to try this out. Seeds in and plugs soaked with 5.7ph water.

First Dark & Stormy peeking out.

Sept 27, also trying out the Luxx LED clone strips. Got a ton of stretch on the Mai Tai and almost none on the Katsu. It could partly be because the Katsu took longer to emerge and I dialed the light in by that time.

Update from today. Way more stretch than I want but finding the sweet spot. Light intensity is 60% at 16" now. They'll be ready to transplant soon...

Quick update, I popped some new seeds, after redoing my intake and exhaust I ran into some heat issues and with some already leggy girls, I decided to restart with what I know, solo cups and better environmental control. Also threw in some perlite. I wasn't happy with the phenos going anyway.

Pop ‘‘em out and re bury it to the level you want it at. I do it all the time. Works just fine. Unless it’s in a plug then just add as much as you can. I pre wet the soil and try to squeeze a lot of moisture out so it’s not soaked

I transplanted even though they stretched but I had a meter that wasn't reading correctly and so they got way heat stressed. I decided it was best to start over.

Also, ignore the "day 1 veg" lol, I tagged that for myself to know when I started feeding full strength nutes. That's well beyond day 1 veg. :)

What is up? my bro~
I'm going to be starting a new thread. I had some problems with my girls, equipment failures and was just not happy with my progress. I also transplanted too deep and couldn't fit my drip trays on by the time the plants got tall enough. So... repopped one last time and getting it right this time.

Hope everything goes on well. Have a nice day!
