Yea, me too bro. I mean, I got hit pretty hard a few years back, luckily I had insurance to cover (most) of my damage. The plan has been trying to make a transition eventually, one day. I've lived here in Seattle for over a decade, never had people fuck with me, or mine, whatsoever. All this propaganda about how bad it is here. I've got a barracks sitting in the back of my truck outside, been sitting there for years, tools, even $5 change still sitting in the console. (for years unlocked) Always watching.
Go out there, and within a year, all the methheads hit me like gangbusters. It was depressing, I've pulled back this last year or two to see how I need to approach it differently, without hurting anyone, hopefully. It's challenging to get a handle on somethings going on out there, if I'm not always onsite. They will steal rocks, or trees even. Can't even keep a lock on my shipping container, they will steal the camera's out of the trees, hillbilly sasquatch bastards.
Living in the city, and out that way presents many different challenges, always keep that in mind if you try to do it. I'm from the sticks originally, so I get it a little, but it's two very different worlds. I guess I've been in the city for so many decades, perhaps. Those fucking rednecks will simply steal anything off my land, and carry it off on their backs. Very irritating. It's like a horde of them out there, lurking behind every tree. loll
I've been looking at 20 acres down in Klamath, I might sell my land. Haven't made up my mind yet. It's a headache.
