Hi,
What plant arrangement is the most effective and efficient?
I don't know how fast the flowers grow (i'm beginner) but just want to make good use of the space and conditions. I would prefer veg to be moderate i.e. no more than a month.
I would compare it to packing a lot of stuff into a small car - nicely, neatly arranged in as much space as possible, but without stuffing it with legs and putting the luggage on the roof so that nothing collapses while driving.
I don't want to overdo it
I throw in some preview photos in the context of the distribution of plants.

I would personally say #3 without the plant in the middle. I run 4 plants like that in a 5x5 and it's wall to wall. That's with a 5 week veg. I'd say if you're trying to maximize the space, do the same but I've seen people squish 5 or 6 in a 4x4.

Depends on strain and how long you want to veg. In general, more smaller plant make better relative yields. You can do 16 with two week veg and harvest 2 pounds in 3 months or you can veg 4 plants 6 weeks and harvest 2lbs.

Right now I'm doing 2 per 4x4 and it's still getting crowded. Might go down to 1. Way easier to manage. I've had 25 in a 5x5. It's way too much work.
I got 4 small ones in a 2x4 and it’s way to much work - but he’s auto watering

I'll have RDWC so only work is defolating for me. At least i know that now that it's better to have a little less and do 1-2weeks veg more
