Gonna add that spectral effects are no joke. Imo run both veg and bloom switches on and back the light up further to compensate. 3000 Lux. Plants have different photoreceptors and the are spectrum orientated so depriving them of a certain spectrum is just no good.

If you run only the blue that plant is gonna stay squat as fuck. Basically veg bloom of pure blue or pure red is a gimmick and its been shown time and time again (undisputed) that the benefit more from both and even more so from full spectrum than a single spectrum.

For thise interested in an in depth read on how light and spectrum affect the morphology of the plant. This is a good read and has many studies cited that you can look up independently as this is a summary of many different studies.

Ive run water temperatures around 68 deg in both veg and flower and i have since i read i should.

I can answer the why you likely see different results.... any guess? Just trying to get ppl thinking for conversion and learning sake.

Not a guess but yes.

Exactly why i replied.

Later
Your HID affect plant temps. Water temp also affects plant temps. Your HID will warm the plant so a cooler water uptake is not as Impact full when compared to LED as there is no IR spectrum to warm the leaves or plant.

Again discussing and just a guess.

Many things affect plant temls so in the end it boils down tk the plant temp.

Accidentally split the top of the plant when pushing the others down to allow more light into the center of the plant. I didn't try tying them up together as I noticed a day later. Should my plant be okay like will it build up strength for it? Or should I open their wound back up and tie them together? Don't know if I should just take it off or add a trellis to help it out.

Roots look good.... for now.

Definitely love or sterile.

I'd say defgaurd over hydrogaurd... I know I also referenced it but same thing and much more bacteria for the money in defgaurd. Like 10x more.

But anyhow I'd be cutting those bottom leaves off. Anything resting on the hydroton or lids has to go. Easy way to get a bacterial or fungal infection.

Back the light off a bit more yet imo.

Pruned a bit and noticed the red stems fading to green a bit keeping Ph under 6 and ppms around 300 is working good so far

Ok see how the leaves are a bit swollen and twisting?

Can you get a clearer shot of a lighter growing tips close up and a pic far back showing the light and plants.

We're these clone or seed?

Pruning was perfect 👌

There is an issue still but they are looking better.

Looking back to see what the ph change per day is as you say your trying to keep it below 6. I can't find the following:

1.what brand of nutrients and in what order are you mixing them if more than 1 part?

2. What is the ppm of your source water?

3. Day and night temps?

4. Humidity of room and if ya have a hygrometer place it right next to the plant and check in 10 min

Grown from seed I got from a friend I'm using fox farms big bloom and grow big with a bit of cal mag and h2o2 3%, my tap water is at 150-180 ppms. Temps stay around 22-25c
And hydrometer on 46-55%

Up humidity to 55-60%

How much of each of those are you adding?

How are you calculating total ppm.

Can you take a pic of the from of the bottles for me?

And was he growing in hydro?

I add enough to increase the ppms to about 300 use equal amount of big bloom and grow big with a 10 ml dropper so I start off with 150-80 from source then add up from there.

He got it from a batch he got sold so who knows what I got lol just got a stash of seeds I wanna train with before actually start spending money on good seeds

After looking at the chart, since your not using Ro water, If I bought some fox, I would start by adding 3 parts of big bloom, then1 part grow big. I dont think you need calmag due to using tap but idk, thats for others. Regardless how much i added total of each, if I added 30ml of big bloom, then 10ml of grow big. Perhaps once you get some decent branches id add the calmag. Id also make sure the temp during lights on is at least 77F. I also dont think a fan will hurt it at all, keep that air flowing if your not already. My tent had a slight suction to it lol. . anyways my thoughts still are its getting to much N or its not able to transpire. Since your stems are not red you said, its prolly the transpire issue. If its 72 or even 75 most of the time, I feel thats not warm enough. A peak of 77 means its prolly not always 77, it could be idk. Anyways, time to go dump a shit ton of water out the window.

No way I would put that stuff in my hydro... loaded with ammonium, urea and organics. 6-4-4

The hydro ratio is 3-2-6 and look at the sources... nitrates not urea and much less ammonium

Hate be the rain on the parade guy but yeah I would get some hydro nutes sooner than later.
