I’m traveling from Phoenix to Orlando Florida and just curious if anyone’s been through airport security recently and what I should watch out for

if you're gonna be holding, carry only sealed cartridges and throw em in with your liquids in your carry on. no need to trip on the dog, they're trained for ballistics (ammunition, bombs, etc) and not drugs. don't put anything illegal in your checked luggage. otherwise, it's no different than it's been since 9/11. pain in the ass and intrusive.

I fly with about a weeks worth of meds in concentrate form - never hide it carry in my pens -knock on wood- never had an issue I also pick smaller airports

a little hash sewed into your hat. Hash capsules in the vitamins. Gotta be incredibly easy to do still. Or just buy when you get there.

We just flew to Jamaica in October. Took several cartridges in my wife's makeup bag. Came back with a bunch of cool (unused at that time lol) paraphernalia that we got at the Kaya Dispensary and not an issue at all. Including this cool little bowl in the video. I was a bit of a dumbass and took a few buds in my cargo shorts with no issues besides in Atlanta. They have tons of security and security was about 30 ft away from me with his dog and his dog kept staring at me bahahah. I was buzzed on some edibles so I was probably just paranoid lol. Have a great trip and Happy Thanksgiving.

a couple years ago i flew out of PDX with a few joints and some cartridges. about shit myself when i saw they had the dog out and were single filing everyone by it so i asked the sheriff that was handling the k9 if they were that concerned about people flying out with cannabis and she's the one that told me they don't bring the drug dogs to the airport, they bring the ballistics dogs. "weed doesn't blow planes up."

further, if you go to TSA's website, they clearly state that they themselves cannot arrest you for possession. They divert such matters to local law enforcement, and so long you're flying out of a legal state, the cops will likely tell you either throw it away or miss your flight, your choice. i mean, that's if it's a personal amount. not sure how they'd approach one trying to carry weight.

hell i rather they have the dog out and pass everyone through the metal detector instead of forcing everyone to go through those body scanners. hadn't been through security at that airport so fast since i was a kid. normally it's like an hour long ordeal, but with the dogs they don't run you through the scanner, they run you through the metal detectors and it's way more efficient getting through.

Got a friend who flys very frequently. Always has his vape and an oz of flower in his checked bag. Never a problem.

I was planning a trip to fla and my son doesn't smoke or know anyone who does. Military still frowns on weed. I'd feel strange asking cousins I haven't seen in 40 years to hook me up. I probably just take hash.

the key with this is don't have a common black suitcase. ime, every single time i've flown with a "make it blend in with the crowd" suitcase, my shit has been searched, often ending up with shit being stolen. i picked up an osprey duffle bag that is fluorescent green and since then haven't had it searched once out of dozens of flights with it checked. still wouldn't put product in my checked bag though, in the off chance those fuckers raid it. best to carry on your person imo.

Friends bag was searched one time he came here. Packed his pocket knife in his shave bag. Got here and knife was laying in the suit case instead of in the shave bag. They left the weed and vape alone. I don’t think they really give a fuck about weed anymore for small personal quantities.

lucky. TSA stole my pocket knife out of my suitcase once. Still pissed about that. Don't blame em, it was a first responder knife with a window breaker and seatbelt cutter, but still not right to steal a passengers shit.

They probably confiscated it but perhaps should have left instructions on how to get it back on return.
