I'm just starting so I know I have 2-3 weeks but I'm wondering if anyone has a good feeding regimen for a newbie using RO water, cal-mag, and the basic fox farm grow big, and tiger bloom ferts. I'll also be adding xtreme mykos when I transplant to the 7 gal fabric pot. Just trying to get a general idea so I don't over feed and burn the plant. I'll be using the lift method to see if watering is needed. I also have a ph/moisture soil probe just in case.

fox farm soil hast nutrients that is good for few months. So, if you are starting with seeds make sure to just give it water. There many growers here that use foxfarm, visit one of their journal and start from the begging to find out how he germinated, transplanted and so on. This should give you a good idea on how to start up and have a good success.

Ok, thanks. Should I add Cal-Mag like once a week to the RO water atleast or will the soil have enough until it's time to add ferts? I am using xtreme Myko which by my understanding helps the plant maximize nutrient uptake. Thanks again.

@growsince79 maybe can help you better, i've not used those nutrients. CalMag has NPK of 2-0-0 and excessive nitrogen can cause problems. The soil is good for about two or three months and at the beginning stages you don't need to, but later in veg you might have too. also, are you getting fox farm ocean or Frog? The ocean is a bit hot for seedlings and you would need to mix it with something else to make it less hot. FF Happy frog is good soil for seedlings but you going to have to feed earlier in my opinion. With FF Ocean you can mix it with something else like perlite to make it less hot.

I'm using Ocean Forest. I read that after I had germinated and planted the seedling. The only other soil I have available is some black and gold mix that reads .10-.06-.13 I do have a ball python that I use coco brick stuff for his bedding. I wet it to get it to expand, would that be ok? It's non active for the snakes safety.

Thats too much light, turn the intensity of the light down and move it up to 30inch height from top of the plant. your temps are good but get your humidity up. to 60+%. are you planning to put both those seedlings in the fiberpot?

There's 2 smaller fans top and bottom, then the dual window fan is pulling air in. My new issue is getting my humidity up. It's sits at about 35 which is too low

Lol Massachusetts, Gloucester to be precise. It's by the ocean kinda. I do have like 4 fish tanks in my room that I'm constantly topping cause our heat is dry from the vents. I've had my window open so maybe closing it will increase the humidity

if these are bag seeds then they are photoperiods and the sex is not know until it goes into flower. Those small pots will need to get bigger through time. The single fiber pot is too small for two plants and there going to fight each other causing headaches you don't need.

With the light, just move it to 30 inches above the plants and turn that intensity knob to 10%

if you are grabbing fresh air from outside then the temps of that air is dry and high. You gonna want a humidifier to get that humidity up in the tent.

Ok appreciate it, they're OG Kush seeds and I definitely don't want any issues lol. I have plenty more seeds from a friend just don't know if male or female.

The seeds I did plant I inspected looking for the perfect circle and the volcano shape. There was definitely a difference between these and some others. The others weren't circular on the bottom and more flat

Ok, I'll try and find one. Not sure how big I'd need. It's a small tent

i grabbed a humidifier from amazon for like 60 dollars. if it is a small tent then you don't need it to be that big. Thats awesome strains, you gonna have to find a female and clone it and if you are not planning on making seeds than remove the males.

I just found one for 60 that has humidity control. That's what I'm worried about is keeping the environment stable.
