Thanks buddy! Honestly I can't complain either. The plants under the LED look great, at less than half the power output. But I do think they're benefiting from the proximity to the HPS also. Row 3 looks amazing up close, plants in the middle are getting lit from Both LEDs and the HPS. And they're honkin'.
The middle buds are gunna be the best ones. Although not ideal, One of my biggest branches is about 7 inches from the light @ 100% and there is no signs of stress. Lights put off little to no heat. Instensity issues would probably be strain dependent at that close though.

Photo from a different angle gives a better picture of how the defoliation exposed more buds from above.

Time to wake up and get to work ladies!

Wow I am gone for 3 days and this thread took off both the words and the weeds. It is fun to read it all at once and get a good picture of things.

@tobh here is the Calcium silicate I use. It's designed for foliar application on turf and would be excellent for canna foliar too if you saw deficiencies. But it plays very well in the res too.
Do you use this in your res at all times at the same ppm, also you only use as a foliar if you see issues?

There’s a balance, there’s been studies done you can find them on google, UV spectrum triggers defense mechanism in cannabis plants, that defense mechanism is about producing more oils/cannabinoids to protect from the UVA And UVB spectrum
@tobh you must have taught him how to research lights so much so he is aware of the studies and intricacies of the UV spectrum and the effects on cannabinoids. Big steps from not knowing how to look up basic light companies.

Ooopps sorry Dirt for stirring the "pot" again taking away from your killer grow. I am actually soaking my slabs right now!

Thanks dude. It felt so wrong using that dinky ass little tent in this sweet sweet room lol. Glad to be growing again after that 7 month break.
Db your pics and setup are great but I cant really see the answer to my question. Did you put more fans on the HPS side to move excess heat load? Or combat with air intake position? Or not even an issue?

Not even an issue. The two hurricane fans move the air around A LOT. Temperature is very even throughout the canopy.

I haven't used it as a foliar yet, I haven't really had any serious Ca issues for a long time.
But I use it in my res all the time up until about week 6 in flower when I transition to calcium carbonate. I don't run any silica at all for the last few weeks.

mother fucker
Man, I apologize for the folks shitting on ya.
This site and I'm sure many others have been known to have the occasional catfish shilling for companies. The way you came into the thread with SF all in caps was suspicious, I'll admit.
But I will take you at your word. And honestly guys, give this dude a break. Shill or not, The hostility is messing with the zen in here.. lol.

Appreciate that.

I'm over it. I found the ignore button, which likely would've been the correct course of action to begin with. Shit happens though. it is what it is.

lol, thats sad.

Damn these babes are thirsty...
In this shed for all the years I've run it, I would average about 10 gal per day water usage. This run is sucking back 18 gallons per day. That's over one gallon of nutrient solution passing through each plant, every day.
Pretty incredible.

I'm gonna have to start making the holding tank my res, and set my actual res up with a float switch from the holding tank. This is nuts.
