Hey guys I've been meaning to do this sooner but I had so much going on. Lost my brother on the 9th. A couple days later my dog almost drowned in the pool and a couple days after that my mom got in a car crash (she is ok her car is just busted up.) I was a total wreck for a couple weeks and almost let the plants go, caring for them felt so petty. But I pulled my head out of my a** in time, I know he wouldn't want me to stop doing the things I enjoy. I'm still new to this, I did my first full grow outdoors this year and it came out decent with lots of room for improvement but I enjoyed it so I figured I'd get a little indoor setup started. Right now I have a 4x2 tent inside of my 6x6 closet. Maybe down the road I will turn the whole closet into a grow space but who knows, I think I'm ok with what I got for now. This grow has been 50/50 synthetic/organic but in the future runs I want to start leaning more towards organic. Anyway, I'll briefly go over the equipment I've used and catch you guys up to speed:
Current Grow:
1 mars hydro ts 1000 / 1 viparspectra par1500
4x2 AC Infinity tent
2 purple punch auto by 420 fast buds
5 gallon Ac Infinity pots
50/50 mix of fox farm ocean forest and yellow bag miracle grow
1 6" vivosun fan for exhaust, and a old 4" for intake
fox farm trio / real grower's recharge / bloom city cal-mag / dynomyco
aqua oasis humidifier
I think that's it so I'll share some pictures of up to this point.
This pic ^ I believe was the first day I noticed the pre flowering and it's also around the time I lost my brother and quit keeping track of the grow so there is a big gap that brings us up to a few days ago:
The main colas had gotten away a little bit so reluctantly I decided to do one last bend and move them lights down and turned them up from 70 to 80%
Before:
after:
it obviously made the canopy more even but I think it was a bad call on my part (don't know unless you try) The bend made a few of the pistil tips on the main cola turn orange-ish and I turned up and lowered the light too fast I think because the leaves started yellowing quickly so I backed off the bend and the lights and that's where I'm at now.
Website where I bought the seeds says they should be ready in 9 weeks which is in 20 days. I don't think they will be ready by then, they haven't even swelled yet...but we will see. Not expecting a big yield but I hope the nug is good. I'm gonna try to update once or twice a week as they flower out.
Thanks for stopping by, happy grows everybody...questions/comments/criticisms are all welcome, don't be shy.
