He called one day and asked what happened to his auto cup holder. I was like "What?" He described the CD drive.

I can't really tell. But, and I can't believe I'm saying this, the LED side just looks like it has bigger buds overall with about equal trich production so far. But again, HPS side seems to have more buds, but they're a bit smaller.Lookin' good Db, as always!![]()
Which side looks the frostiest?
From your video it looked like the SF side, but as you were on your way out, the other side looked pretty frosty too!lol
Imagine adding UV and CO2 on top of that.I can't really tell. But, and I can't believe I'm saying this, the LED side just looks like it has bigger buds overall with about equal trich production so far. But again, HPS side seems to have more buds, but they're a bit smaller.
When they really frost over at the end of ripening it will be interesting to see if they are noticably different.
Interesting...I can't really tell. But, and I can't believe I'm saying this, the LED side just looks like it has bigger buds overall with about equal trich production so far. But again, HPS side seems to have more buds, but they're a bit smaller.

Hahaha I need to start doing this.We had codes we would write down on the repair sheets for accounting. PIBCAK was billed often.

wonder if its the spectrum difference.I can't really tell. But, and I can't believe I'm saying this, the LED side just looks like it has bigger buds overall with about equal trich production so far. But again, HPS side seems to have more buds, but they're a bit smaller.

They are reading a fair bit higher ppfd to tell you the truth. Surprisingly so. They're bright as all get out.wonder if its the spectrum difference.
that makes sense but. They are reading a fair bit higher ppfd to tell you the truth. Surprisingly so. They're bright as all get out.
Easy a pound. I'm back to thinking about pimping the shed next winter with Co2, put in a minisplit, run a mix of high watt LED and DE HPS.. bang out a good one.I've got my lung designed for the 'After Move' grow build.
It's pretty sweet. And it will be more or less airtight for CO2.
Imagine an organic grow with CO2 under a SE5000 +UV 4x4. That's a pound right there.
interesting considering they are ~200 watt difference ?So pretty Damn even really.
I did test the floor footprint in 4sqft sections, so 16 quadrants. Each was super even, it's why this canopy is so even. I'm just surprised that the 480w lights are keeping up.DB, have you considered mapping your floor in there to make sure its even all the way across?
Using the map to adjust your lights up front.
That's what Doc Bruce was talking about when he said LED has caught up.I did test the floor footprint in 4sqft sections, so 16 quadrants. Each was super even, it's why this canopy is so even. I'm just surprised that the 480w lights are keeping up.
More than that. The 2 HPS are combined 2000w, the 2 LED's combined are about 900w. So less than half the power draw.interesting considering they are ~200 watt difference ?
is that the "efficiency" of LED tech
Apparently..That's what Doc Bruce was talking about when he said LED has caught up.
