Cool hey? You can see FMJ and armor piercing rounds go clean through. Soft points just open up like a banana hitting a brick wall going Mach chicken. I think they were shooting hardened target steel at the end where the bullets were just getting torn to shreds with no impact on the steel.

Can't seem to get a good bud pic in focus,.. anyways, I think tomorrow is the day. Coming up close to the end of week 10 and my buddy told me to do my best to hold out for a week 10 or even 11 chop, as it apparently makes a pretty big difference with this cut. He also said the purple fade is normal. Never goes yellow.

Fuck am I ever both nervous and excited. I don't think I've had so much holding power before chop before and normally would have taken these last week. But I have to say I'm happy I held out, the smell of the flowers has evolved from a skunky floral to a down right musk that is indescribable. Amazing.

Oh I have had a really hard time lol. But I've done this entire grow based on the advice on a good friend and he urged me to hold out as long as possible. Turns out they don't get over ripe very fast when you lighten up on the environmental pressures. Keeping lights dim, temps moderately cool for this last week or so has put them into a slower state of ripening where I can watch it happen a bit more closely to take them at just the right time.
I'm honestly really looking forward to seeing the difference in the finished quality compared to last run. It looks like a different strain almost this round.
