Haha I used a motorized version of this for years. I'd never use it on my personal crop though. Beats the buds up like crazy. We only ever used them for smalls, all the tops and mids were always hand trimmed.

Really? I don't know man, I used to collect crazy amounts of hash from that thing after trimming and when you scoped the buds afterwards you'd have trouble finding a resin gland left on them.
Anyways, I've got access to one but im not gonna use it. I'd rather not trim at all than use that thing personally.

Also I dry trim and hang the whole plant to dry, those things work best with a wet trim.

I wouldn't put it down until you've tried it. Its not electric its hand crank, if your beating it up too bad, stop cranking.

I've use the hand crank ones too, that's what I have available to use if I want but I just don't like them. Personal preference. I try to treat the buds with extreme care during harvest and curing.
