I have a plastic kneecap but other than that, I'm still 98% original OEM parts.
I'm not sure I even want to ask....i have a piece of metal holding my right thumb together. temperature shifts are always a fun experience.
its because of the ignore button. He presses it to many times lolI'm not sure I even want to ask....
longboarding accident. put my hand into a concrete curb at ~30mph. shattered my thumb tip and the head of the radius in my right arm, and caused a Stener lesion, which is where you tear the ligament that makes your thumb functional. that's where the metal is, holding that ligament together now.I'm not sure I even want to ask....
not that kind of longboard. forgot you're on the island. longboard skateboard. they're like regular skateboards, just longer and slightly wider, meant for cruising or bombing hills. How the hell do you hit a curb in the ocean?
BK said its called a surfboard on wheels but no scag.not that kind of longboard. forgot you're on the island. longboard skateboard. they're like regular skateboards, just longer and slightly wider, meant for cruising or bombing hills.
ouch, that hurts as fuck. I've got a few pins in my wrist cuz of aggresive skating and i was going to do a 360 on a quater pipe.longboarding accident. put my hand into a concrete curb at ~30mph. shattered my thumb tip and the head of the radius in my right arm, and caused a Stener lesion, which is where you tear the ligament that makes your thumb functional. that's where the metal is, holding that ligament together now.
still have scars on my palms and lost portions of tattoos on both my knee caps from the road rash. that's why i wear full gear every time i'm on my motorcycles too lol road rash sucks more than broken bones.
we used to call the shaggin. You hang onto a car that's headed for the hill to pick up speed.about 1 minute in
for sure, that accident ended my skating days. i've broken my ankle and tailbone several times on a regular deck both street skating and at parks, but this was the last straw. decided i was too old for the shit and simply can't afford to have only one functional hand/arm for months on end since i kinda need both to type.ouch, that hurts as fuck. I've got a few pins in my wrist cuz of aggresive skating and i was going to do a 360 on a quater pipe.
2 months a go i fell inside of a bowl while skating and almost broke two shoulders, but i think something got fuck cuz pain hasn't gone away yet.
done a fair bit of that too haha used to cruise albuquerque hanging onto the back of cars to get around. stupid teenager shit. surprised myself nor any of my friends never died doing that.we used to call the shaggin. You hang onto a car that's headed for the hill to pick up speed.
yeah fuck that man. road rash is no joke.I had road rash from my left knee to my left shoulder. 99.9% of it has healed over. It's been 40 years since that happened. I got run off the road on a bike.
I've broken my shoulder. That is a kind of pain that you feel nowhere else on the body. I still rode with it though.ouch, that hurts as fuck. I've got a few pins in my wrist cuz of aggresive skating and i was going to do a 360 on a quater pipe.

Yeah...Was NO fun time, that's for sure, I could't use my left leg for 3 MONTHS, THEN came the PT, basically learning how to walk again and do your normal every day activities like sitting on the toilet and standing from the toilet! Ikr, the kind of stuff we take for granted until we lose the function of our limbs, etc., like being able to stand long enough to brush your teeth or wash dishes, laundry, cleaning...OMG! Talk about OCD with anxiety overload AND PTSD on top of that now...I was a HOT MESS! @ComfortablyNumb who told me, "There's no such thing as a "Hot Mess"...But that was ME, I didn't even have a frickin' knee and I had a "cankle" instead...oof i bet the recovery on that was fun. moving somewhere cold would be even more fun.

We call it "hitch hiking", whether you're doing it by skateboard, bike, roller-blades/skates, or on foot in the middle of winter (says @ComfortablyNumb )...we used to call the shaggin. You hang onto a car that's headed for the hill to pick up speed.
@ComfortablyNumb keeps tryna get me to get a ZIPPER tattoo using the scars up and down my left leg...I said, "OOH HELL NOOO!!!!!!!"yup.... will never again take for granted being about to put on a shirt, or pants, or socks, or even toothpaste on a toothbrush.. the little things you don't realize are really fuckin easy because you have two limbs, but when one is non-functional, they're damn near impossible.
bet those scars are awesome though haha scare kids with em and whatnot
those looks to be healing really well. i'd be surprised if you have anything significant once all is said and done.@ComfortablyNumb keeps tryna get me to get a ZIPPER tattoo using the scars up and down my left leg...I said, "OOH HELL NOOO!!!!!!!" View attachment 1215317
