The best thing I can tell you is have fun with it, keep it simple, and when you make mistakes( and you will), learn from them. Spend some time on here. There’s a lot good people on here with a lot of knowledge. You’ll learn a lot, I have! Good luck! Happy Growing! Best Hobby Ever!

I have been running into problems plants stunted from cold weather my shed doesn't have insulation and I didn't have a heat mat :/ plus think I had a deficiency on one seedling I still need to get a ph pen ph up down .im starting out with autos do you think I chose the right choice for a newbie or should I have bought a photo?

Before you do anything, lets see some pix of the girls. We will be able to tell much better that way. Heat and cold leave certain signs.

If you had said, "My plants are crumbling and blowing away" we might have figured out you live in the desert, but for anything more complicated, regular light (white) pictures are your friend. From the side and top. Closeups of the area in question please.

They look good so far. What is that? Coco, rice and what?

Just posted them the biggest one is northern lights 3 weeks veg I think it got stunted seems small and really immature for its age

Even at 3 weeks old, they look good. but I'm waiting to see what you're growing in.

Can you be a bit more specific? I'm looking for certain things that will give me the diagnosis.

I love growing autos, that’s all I’m growing at the moment. The biggest problem I’ve discovered with autos is you don’t have a lot of time to correct mistakes or deficiencies because of the growth rate. But they are fun! Fast!

So the the pic with the pot and solo cup if u notice the plant in pot leaves were cut at tips where the deficiency was the leaves tips were weird looking like fried wich I'm guessing was nute burn possibly

The coco is what's messing with you. Coco absorbs magnesium. You need to give a very light mag boost to counter it.
Also, when you are in coco, the more often you have to feed. How often do you currently feed and water?

So, I have several questions. Did you say the top pic is at 3 weeks? Are you already giving nutes? Is the one in solo cup for a solo cup challenge or are planning on transplanting it?

I see where you are going. Yeah, they are small, but why? A step at a time. Always start with the medium because everything changes based on that.

Currently I might water every 24 hours plus I spray them with a spray bottle once a day also.

Coco does not hold water, so you have to feed and water a lot more often in coco depending on your mix. Straight coco and perlite 50/50 mix gets watered/fed 4 or 5 times a day at least.
