Hey Frankster , I agree with you about the fresh cups ...I always feel much better when I use them ,

My re used cups are scrubbed clean after each use ,and the other issue that bugs me is cost , around here I could pay 5 bucks for 30 , and then there's the notion that I shouldn't re use gallon plastic pots and so on .....

And of course we gotta factor in the labor it takes to drill clean holes for drainage ...I'm lazy

I would end up building a city on the amount of plastic I go thru if I didn't recycle em
I even re use rapid rooters if clones don't take 😜
Agreed; the waste is certainly an issue perhaps. I certainly do advocate the re-use of things where possible. The key with the cups I think is this; getting all the pathogenetic bugs killed in them.... If it can be done efficiently; I think it's worth the efforts. Something along the lines of vinegar or even citric acid could certainly be used; I would lean to acidic sides. I've got some stuff called triton x100 that was sent to me on mistake that I use in situations like this sometimes. It's a laboratory grade detergent; but needs to be used with great caution; cause of it's concentration level; ie only a few drops needed. Even alcohol compounds might be a good selection; but you need to find a single solution that performs sufficiency well on it's own.

You want 100% kill count on all microbes; nothing less.... Then rinsed... and covered for next use.
The key with proper cleaning is getting into cracks and cervices that you otherwise cannot see... Cause you can't "autoclave" a plastic cup.

Thermoplastic dissolves in alkaline (aka basic) solutions with a pH value of 9 or higher. So these are the conditions you want to avoid.... To reduce degrading the cup materials itself.

The real issue for me is complete; comprehensive cleanse. Sometimes I take the time; other times I reach for a newer cup. Soaking them for a long time in a bucket with a non-degrading agent would be ideal IMO. Bulletproofing the method is important in this regard, because of dire implications down the line.

Complacency can become our own worse enemy from keeping things consistent.

That's what I use to clean out my little pots for reuse, with hot water. It's essentially death in a bottle. Also excellent for cleaning tents and floors, but not pet safe.

Are your cups " solo" cuz a buck twenty five for 20 , damn I'd be on that fast

I gotta have the " square bottom " solo , they're so much more stable than round bottoms , nothing drives me crazier than when a tray of fresh cuts tips over ....
Indeed.

Sorta... Kinda... Not really.
I'll change bloom:grow ratios if a plant is showing me something obvious... But, for the most part, they get the same stuff.

Grocery Outlet Bargain Outlet... 😎

Holy fuck I hope you grabbed some of them buggers.... to put in your compost bins. 😍 Nice reds it looks like. Edit; looks like you found them by the bins.. 😂

GOP propaganda.... It's a conspiracy! "their trying to brainwash us all"

Hey Frankster thanks for the advice , throwing away a perfectly good plastic container is tough for me , but it was time , normally I'd give them a good scrub with hot water and detergent in a tub but
It was the labeling that became a challenge ..... For some reason the solos are expensive around here but , really not an issue , I think I paid 5.00 for 30 size small , but oh boy my clones look happy in that nice fresh cup 🤗 New is always nice , even when it's just a tiny plastic cup

yo bud , are you ignoring me ? I need those worms , are you going to sell them to someone else ? Can you freeze them ?

Please stop ignoring me and tell me if we can make a deal , I mean there are other people with worms ...if it's not going to happen , just tell me
