I'm just a little ways behind ya bud I'm hoping to start outdoor planting this weekend! So far, it looks like that last snow we got a couple weeks ago kept the grasshoppers at bay - Just praying they stay away from my plants this year! 🙏

Whats the dimensions on your plot? Looks huge.

Nice tractor and setup also!
This is 1 1/4 acre lot, I’m utilizing rite around 3/4 of the lot for hemp.
That does not include the veggie garden.
I saved the back of the lot to plant corn and potatoes

7 watering zones,
I can only run 2 sprinklers at a time because of my limitations on water pressure from my well.
It’s a man dug well, hand dug back in 1974,
45 feet deep, I’ve ran it every summer all summer and never ran out even last year when it didn’t rain for 4 months.
Sprinklers are on orbit timed sprinklers set for 1/2 hour per zone.
Luckily so far this year we have had plenty of rain and more to come before I really need to water myself.

If you plant ice, you're gonna harvest wind.

Hopefully your neighbors don't want to grow any outdoor this year. Not doing an outdoor run myself this year (schedule problems) but last year had my outdoor grow pollinated by a hemp farmer neighbor. Just putting out a few males this year but if I had the time I'd put out way more and try and ruin his "under 0.3%".

Missed the "feminized" part. You sir, are a dream neighbor.

That’s all part of the game brothers.
Can’t control what idiots do.
There’s way less hemp fields around because of the state adopting the feds 2018 hemp bill.

I have to keep a close eye on my well. In my area we are the only ones with a well, all my neighbors south of me on my road have to haul water from a community well up north. My well is 623 feet deep! I really hope it doesn't dry up on us any time soon- we may not find another well on our land if it goes dry.

Maybe I missed something, but is this a permitted grow? Do you have to cross all your tees and dotted all your eyes before starting?

Unfortunately yes,
This is a state legal hemp grow.
Have to jump through all there hoops.

Yep. Same as 1diesel1, I have a license issued by the Colorado Department of Agriculture to grow industrial hemp - and they're not cheap, either. Mine was 550 this year.
On top of an FBI background check for the price of 60 bucks and the gas to get there and back...
