Hey everyone. Been lurking. Started posting. Probably came off as a noob idiot with big opinions based on google fu. Wanted to try to lend some cred to my posts, best way I could think of was to make a vid. I use a gopro on my head a lot for documentation, so since I'm all set up why not?

This will say it all better than I can with words. Plus I don't love typing - too much like paperwork to me.


First tent = VEG
Second tent = Mothers
Third tent = Drying racks
Fourth tent = 4x8x8 "LED" Flower tent
Fifth tent = 4x8x8 "HID" Flower tent

One thing that I necessarily omitted is the Column I have at my other shop for Chromatography. I use that to separate out the concentrate into the individual cannabinoids as nearly the final step in making medicine. If people want to learn about that, I'll grab some vid next time I do it.

I am an engineer by training, first Electrical then Software. I love Chemistry and learning. Love toys. Love the scientific method. I'd like to wipe out some of the song lyrics clogging my brain from the 70s and 80s and reuse the relinquished RAM to learn more about the Chemistry of Cannabis.

Everything you see is legal and above board. I truly follow the spirit of the law in my state where it is legal to grow cannabis for health reasons. My wife is my primary motivating force for starting all this - to help find her relief - but now I have fallen in love with the giant puzzle that is cannabis and spend a fair amount of time studying, testing, and generally coloring outside the lines of what normal people do.

I'm happy to share what I have and what I know. Looking for an online community that feels the same and challenges me to improve my game.

I am always open to constructive criticism, If I make a mistake and you know better, I'm all ears. A lot of you have been doing this a lot longer than I have. That said, I tend to discount anecdotal evidence. For me, its 100% about the science.

I'm humbled by the likes on this really old thread. No idea what brought it back to life lol.

Things have changed a lot since then. I've added equipment like a short path distillation, Tissue Culture, sensors and feedback, and the tents have been reconfigured countless times.

I have to say thanks to all the people who have schooled and guided me along the way. I'm no expert, probably never will be. But what I have learned working with the good folks on this forum is priceless to me. Time to pay it all back, one helping post at a time.

I'm still growing, but not like I used to. For some reason I had it in my head that you need to produce 4 pounds dry out of a 4x8 to be a real grower. Been there, done that, and probably never will again. Now it is all about the finesse of getting the absolute best a bean has to offer.

It is really fun and rewarding having all this equipment and space - happy to share with anyone if I can help you.

I’ve tried diets in the past,
Diets do not work, it’s a temporary way to lose wait, and always comes back.
If your not willing to make a lifestyle change it’s a temporary fix.
4 years ago I was up around 230 pounds,
Shit started looking bad on the health side.
I could see 50 years old on the horizon.
So I decided if I want to live to see the grand kids graduate and start there own families ide better make a lifestyle change, so I did.
I used the Keto system but worked it the way my lifestyle would accept it.
Now I’m down to 180 run 3 days a week 2 miles at a time, ride the bike 3 days a week 12 miles at a time and do 120 sit ups 3 days a week.
I feel like I’m a teenager now but still fuck like a old man, lol

Hey, I haven't read the book and I'm not big on regimented diets. I've recently dropped over 100lbs by eating what I like but at only 500 calories per meal. Diets that don't fit my menu make it hard to follow and stick eating shit I don't like.............Fk Kale

500 calories for breakfast ( granola lots of fruit and 1 cup milk ) Lunch 1 can Tuna/shrimp/crab/salmon salad open face or a pastrami sandwich 500 cal. diner as much salad as I can eat + 200 cal in dressing / olives/ feta cheese, croutons, 500 cal salad. One a week a large grilled steak & baked potato 1000+ cal ....coffee coffee coffee coffee tea

edit I read the above.....I was up to 350 @ 5'6" I dropped to 225 I'm currently at 245 after an 8 month hiatus on my 1500 C/day but I'm back at it again since June 1 I've dropped 2 lbs I want 200lb this time.


I jumped your thread sorry about that. You've an awesome set up and skill to use it....Your a great resource for this community

I've gone from in a wheelchair @350lbs+ @ 66 yrs old then I had my hips replaced. Still immobile, atrophy had taken my muscles away and it snowed. I bitched to my son about having to get someone to shovel for me. He said he'd left a gram or 2 of pot in his old bedroom. I hadn't smoked in a few years because I couldn't grow it and I was on hydromorphone & fentayl. I smoked the pot, went out and shovelled the yard with a stool, a shovel load or 2 sit and rest, I kept on smoking and started to diet and work out. I'll be 70 in Aug. I smoke an oz every 6 days ................I have my life back...its good and I'm back!
