Might do some research on castle doctrine and figure out exactly what rights you have in your state but I agree with above post. Deterrence could lead to desperation and to a much more dangerous problem. Only one way to deal with an armed intruder imo.

We used to joke that if we caught a ripper In action we would hold them hostage and make them do all the trimming. Doesn’t apply to your situation though lol

My state has stand your ground also. If he were to come on my property strapped, I would have the right to put and end to his stealing. No one comes even to my car and threaten me. My vehicle is treated as my home also. I would tell that punk that it is not worth his life to do it again.

Plants are fence enclosed and I live down beside a private road. It's not chain link but it's welded. We farm and have a bunch of livestock contained by electric fencing BEFORE the welded wire. He just walked right over the fucker and bent it, leaving boot prints and all. Even stepped on my goddamn watermelon vines in the process.

I know he will be back this Fall for my huge Banana Kush and others. I decided to transplant them all in the ground and hiding behind a tarp so he can't tell when they are ready for the chop. My auto flower that was stolen last month was slightly visible and he could see the leaf fade walking down the road, knowing it was about right.
Google some stuff. There’s lots of nasty booby traps you can lay. I’d put up a no trespassing sign to legally cover your ass too but I think you’d be fine.

Make sure whatever you do you first put up some VERY clear and night-illuminated signs that say that physical force will be used on thieves, and take a picture of the sign being up and illuminated at night
Will help you a lot down the road if they try to sue, even from booby traps if not a rifle

Maybe a quick consultation with your attorney would settle the options you have?

Posting on the internet of-what you’d do to an intruder on your property is not a very good idea . Take RootsRulers advice. Shooting someone over 4 plants is not a good idea.
The way I see it, it all comes down to money. You can spend $30,000 + defending yourself in court or you can spend that money on a highly secure, high tech greenhouse. Choice is yours.

Fuck the sleazeball. Don't let him suck you into his bullshit world of self induced problems.

Can a GPS Tracker Be Traced To Owner?

Finding The Owner Of The GPS Tracker On My Car

Imagine taking your car in for an oil change and the technicians tell you during checkout that they found a hidden GPS tracker on your car. They hand over this wireless device and your heart skips a beat because now it is very clear that someone was secretly tracking your vehicle. After the sense of frustration about being tracked subsides the next question is who is tracking my vehicle? If you are currently in that situation please know we are here to help guide you to that answer!

How Do I Find Out Who Put A GPS Tracker On My Vehicle?

The first thing you will want to do in order to trace a GPS vehicle tracker to the owner of that surveillance system is determine if the tracker is passive or real time. Since passive devices do not require any subscription fees and many do not even have serial numbers it is nearly impossible to find out who purchased the tracker. The good news is that most people do not use passive devices, instead opting for real time GPS trackers they can monitor from their cell phones. Live GPS tracking devices all require a monthly subscription (data plan) since the tracker needs to transmit data over cellular networks. Therefore, the owner of the tracker must keep a credit card on file for the monthly fees. Not to mention, real time GPS trackers almost all have serial numbers so the manufacturer can activate the device. This is your gateway to finding out who placed the tracker on your vehicle!

Another good idea that was used in Vietnam. Put nails in a board and cover the tips with shit. He might not care about the nails but it will cause a huge infection and he’ll have to go to the hospital. I’d say that’s a good idea to keep him from stealing your plants.

If he goes to the hospital,he rats because it's his health, they call cops because they are obligated,he gets charged for trespassing or theft at best, you get charged for much worse, you pay his hospital bills and a probable lawsuit, now you're hot,you lose and you still have no weed. I would skip outside growing and eliminate the problem.
