South east Asia is my favorite place to eat Singapore is a culinary melting pot. Even the hawker stands over there make better food than many of the full on restaurants here. Not to mention you can dine for 5 or 6 max $10 bucks and get a decent fill. The hawkers are my favorite.I remember seeing Andrew Zimmern in Bangkok I think, checking out the cuisine. He had, rat on a stick, which he didn’t seem to care for. And I think A bowl of sautéed insect of some kind. Maybe grasshoppers or crickets which he said weren’t bad. I know I am opening up myself for some serious Leg pulling, but do you ever try any of that way, off the wall, cuisine? Culture differences are amazing!
If you want off food inventions the Exhibition is going on now, at the CNE.
