Will they finish there? Edit: Outside? It looks like things are progressing right on time for you in your parts.
I'm east of Michigan, but garden is looking similarly over here.
Big cheese luv <3
yes they will. we sometimes get a early light frost but they will take it. more worries for bud rot if we get too much rain in early OctoberWill they finish there? Edit: Outside?
No, not in lower Michigan. Far north in the UP they had some frost a week or so ago. Where I am at in Michigan, frost is typically a month or more away ... but it is Michigan and early frost in our area does happen sometimes.Michigan? You think they'll finish? what variety is that? seems farther along that mineNo, not in lower Michigan. Far north in the UP they had some frost a week or so ago. Where I am at in Michigan, frost is typically a month or more away ... but it is Michigan and early frost in our area does happen sometimes.
Here's a few flower pics taken yesterday. These are greenhouse grown (frost won't be an issue) and I took the pictures to show a fellow farmer what I was doing (super-crop) to keep the plants inside their space.

Bud rot and WPM come October is pretty much every Michigan grower's nightmare ... this includes greenhouse grows too. 6 of my 8 outdoor plants should be done before October rolls around.yes they will. we sometimes get a early light frost but they will take it. more worries for bud rot if we get too much rain in early October

I did lots of super-cropping and used lots of pipe cleaners to keep the branches more or less horizontal so buds grow more or less straight up. There is air/light all the way around most of them which helps keep them happy.Awesome flowering growth character gramps ^.
Late bloomers have no business here. If they start to flower after August closes theres a slim to no chance of finishing your weed here.
Mine are lookin' right on time.
Im about 1 hour east of Niagara Falls.Well, I'm in Northern NY, which is similar in climate... and mine look about the same, if not a tad smaller... I keep thinking I'm usually further along by now, but I think I just forget how fast they fill out once they get flowering... let's hope for a nice hot, dry fall! (Won't hold my breath on that one.)
PM was a sporadic problem for me here, but it has happened to a few grows over time. But not once since I began adding a concentrated silica supplement in with nutrient additives. About a cap per 4 litres of water.Bud rot and WPM come October is pretty much every Michigan grower's nightmare ... this includes greenhouse grows too. 6 of my 8 outdoor plants should be done before October rolls around.
Dating myself but watched many a game at old Olympia stadium. We used to pay the security guard 2 bucks to let us in. Well trimming time coincides with the beginning of hokey season so sit back grab the sizzors and watch the gameThis Logo might raz up a few fans :)
I went to watch our Leafs play Detroit at Joe Louis when I was a little kid. I was taken down in 20' if I'm correct. I also played on Maple Leafs Garden's when I was a kid.
We still have a few months to go (dont think about hockey yet) Enjoy, not to rush summer or anything.
I start tying my branches up very soon, waiting it out turns into a wrestling match with buds getting them to stay up right :D not a bad problem to have tho.If these finish good it will be a lot of hockey games
