My second layer is the strings you see. I drilled holes in the other cross pipes in case i needed to make 3 inch squares, but never needed to. The strings, without anyplants tied to them, offer good support. 60 mph winds no issues. No broken branches. The scrog screen is one foot under that, 12 inches above soil. Next year, I need to veg prune. I elected not to this year just to see how it did without any serious defoliation or pruning. Too much foliage for sure. Also, I only topped once, mid veg or later to prevent plant overlap. Did you prune the sucker branches that form at the branch nodes even if they would reach the screen? I just feel like I wasnt very efficient with my actual tucking. Next year I will lst train right up to flower, then put the screen on. I think. I placed my screen pretty early and for me it was a mf bending under 60 sq feet on one scrog and 45 sq ft on another. And its nearly impossible to get a good look at middle colas across a5.5 ft screen. Lol. Im uploading pics to show you my situation. Itsa 3 foot high livestock feed tank. Screen 12 inches above the rim of the tank, not the soil. Its so hard to get under the screen, between the tank and the screen to do anything under there. And that deterred me. In retrospect, three plants in there was one too many. Too plants probably more doable for me. I need to rethink the whole setup. Im not getting any younger. Lol. Have a good day.
