JMO but the problem with predators is you have to get them when they are really hungry, you can't force them to eat.I have bought ladybugs, lacewings etc before and they just die or go elsewhere and many of the predators are dead on arrival,I think they are meant for greenhouses. It's not like you let them go and they start devouring the mites, they manage over time and adapt to their new environment ,it would be nice if that's how it actually worked though. If you are between grows and have the time and won't be in the room, hang a no pest strip it gets rid of them and any pest in the room, then start a maintenance program.
You are very correct, my friend. Buying adult lacewings you have to wait for them to lay eggs and wait for their larvae to eat pests. With Lady Birds, I've had to deal with them finding another food source. I've learned to let Lady Birds go around my guava tree and catch the baby Gila monsters to put on my crops. During flower, every minute counts and a quick knockdown solution followed by a preventative treatment is what's needed.
Hot Shot Pest Strips are great in my garage, but IMHO, I wouldn't hang that somewhere where I'm not sure the DDVP will leave a trace on my flowers or veggies, that's just me tho. I'm sure there is someone who could coin in on the exposure of DDVP in cannabis. I'm ready and willing to learn something new everyday

The strips are fine if you won't be in the room and then before you use the room you ventilate for some time, but I wouldn't hang them in a room that I used as they contain Dichlorvos which is very toxic and actually banned in Europe, I certainly would not smoke any buds from a room which had them hanging during growth,I prefer pyrethrin over any other and never have or would use a systemic .

Use this right here and kiss ALLLLL bugs goodbye.. and not hurt your plants at all! All ya gotta do is hang this on your fan, and within a day to a week.. they'll all be gone. It can be purchased from Amazon, and isn't expensive at all.

if you get to them early enough i use persimulis mites to get them fuckers. 50 bucks will take care of a decent size room . You must have some spider mites to keep them going . when there are no more spider mites they die.
Appreciate it bro, I’m ordering some now

If your near the end a shop vac on low sucks them right off, takes care of webs too. Need to do it every day though. If it's early flower then a sulfur burner is great, just need a safe way to vent to sulfur fumes.
I’m on the end of week 3 flower rn the stretching is starting to slow

Got it

The only issue with neem is a lot of folks don't do it right. Another problem is the neem oils with the active ingredient azadirachtin- that I do not recommend. Azadirachtin can end up in buds even if you only sprayed during veg.

I use Garden Safe Neem Oil Extract - it does not have azadirachtin in it, and it works very well.

There's also this other stuff I found that works AMAZINGLY well, and it's organic https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PH46H8K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's just a little pricey, but works wonders.
Appreciate it bro

A lot of good suggestions here - taking plants out and spraying them, massaging the branches with your fingers and knocking off as many bugs and eggs as you can.. Sulfur, etc. All good options

I also like to hang a couple of these in my indoor grow rooms - https://www.amazon.com/Hot-Shot-HG-5580-Pest-Strip/dp/B01FOJSQE8/ref=sr_1_3?crid=J6ET5IM7KH7K&keywords=hot+shot+no+pest+strip&qid=1656691582&sprefix=hot+shot+no,aps,480&sr=8-3

They're pretty cheap at your local walmart or whatever, too. They last about long enough for 1 cycle (seed/clone thru veg, till end of flower) and work great for keeping spider mites at bay during flower.

Next time you could try using those, and I would recommend a few preventative sprays of neem before you switch to flower..

I do not know how well the strips work for infestations but for prevention they work great.
Love y’all for all the advice, I feel like I have a lot of options and I love consulting wit the weed community y’all the best 💯

It won't hurt your plants, but no ya don't wanna be breathing it in as your fan is on. And of course make sure not to hang it anywhere where food is made or served.

Yeah, well Google Dichlorvos sounds pretty nasty to me I don't even trust pyrethrin, oh its organic, well so are poisonous mushrooms.

"Why is DDVP banned? The substance is banned due to its potential to damage the human nervous system, and concerns over carcinogenic (cancer causing) properties. It is highly toxic."

This was what I was thinking, I was going to order some off of Amazon for my 10 by 10 tent I have 12 plants and I seen web on two of them….
Did you try, how did it go? I have a 5'5' & I'm a month into flowering, I tried to spray off a couple of my 6 plants in my basement utility tub but man they get top heavy with the water, I was afraid the kolas were going to break off these plants are not used to the elements.

A lot of veggies and fruits you buy at the store has pyrethrin on it,some people grow chrysanthemums and it breaks down really fast in the sun. A cple days or so . They claim it's fine up to the day of harvest but like you, I wouldn't trust it that close to ingestion.

The plants on the the right got the shower, I hope they sleep ok tonight.😁

Green Cleaner all the way bro its all organic its a bit pricey but well worth it IMO also its a great solution for PM as well can be use all the way until the day of harvest. This is a big bottle but it will last a long time they also make a tiny 2oz bottle...

https://www.amazon.com/Central-Coast-Garden-Green-Cleaner/dp/B0791KQTNJ/ref=sr_1_3?crid=25MHMLDRLMS9C&keywords=green+cleaner+for+plants&qid=1656643423&sprefix=green+cleaner,aps,637&sr=8-3
Got a 8oz bottle on eBay for about 5 bucks less, their faq state:
"How late can you use green cleaner?
Using Green Cleaner (or any product for that matter) late in the flower cycle is never ideal. We do claim it can be used up to the day of harvest, but this does not come without some sacrifice . Rinsing the plants with clean water an hour after application can help minimize the damage."
I hope to control it before the end, I have about 6 weeks to go & I don't see any webs YET.

How do I get rid of spider mites or at least hold their level to a minimal level during flower….im growing organically so I would love to keep it a little more natural. I heard that neem oil can mess up the taste of your bud so I’m not to sure if I want to use it.
I spray Opal. It always has worked and I find that if I spray every 10-14 days I don’t get any bugs. It is food grade.
