Alright, I will buy some ice, problem is I have a small freezer, so will have to buy ice daily.

Going to the store tomorrow to get some more distilled water and I'll get ice.

Thinking I might be too late for the color changes to appear, but will do our best. 💎🆒

P. S. There's no air conditioning here but usually I don't need it in San Francisco anyways.

If I leave the heater off and the window grow area it gets to about 60° overnight.
Playing Prince music to the ladies another idea...

My girl got A little wilted 🥀 and soft today after the first day of chilled 🌊 water from the fridge.

So I raised the daytime energy and subsequent heat by turning up the lights from 60% to 80%.

Will monitor closely to see how she responds.

Not looking good today, I think the water was too cold.

My plant has wilted even further and everything dropped down, had to brace the colas up with more wires.

I think it was either too late or too cold to start this now, I feel like I should have left it alone instead of trying to seek out the purple hues.

Next couple of days I hope they rebound. ☮️

All jokes aside, I hope they rebound. Curious at the temps you had them at?

I bought myself a better microscope 🔬... It's coming in the mail tomorrow it's a digital one that you plug into the computer or phone.

Previous one was 60X magnification.

This one is 50x to 1000x

Going to take a look at my trichomes again tomorrow.

New potential problems today.

My LED Ballast is starting to flicker.

Not sure if it's a building electrical issue or maybe the dimmer switch, but just started today, flickering in intensity every so often. Hasn't happened before.

Plugged into a good surge protector, so hopefully this is a temporary problem.

Would hate to have my MAGlong Fail after just a few months of use.

If it does though, I have a light that @SpiderFarmerLED gave me to make a grow journal with, so might end up using that exclusively.

Will keep you informed

What's a Grove bag?
I don't think anyone answered this, a grove bag is the new way to cure buds, instead of in mason jars using RH meters and burping.
These bags are supposed to "breathe" or something to maintain the RH inside the bag, letting only bad gasses out. U/V protected.
Terp-Loc
Most seasoned cultivators recommend a 10-14 day dry (10 days for looser buds and 14 for larger/dense buds) The dry room should be 60 degrees Fahrenheit and 60% relative humidity with even air circulation WITHOUT having direct airflow on drying buds or towards a wall. With a slower dry, the cannabis flower will retain a larger & wider terpene profile, preserving the strain-specific aromas & medicinal benefits of the cannabis that’d be lost in a rushed dry.
After the hang or tray dry, buck the buds to get them ready for CURE.

Curing Cannabis BURP FREE with TerpLoc®
TRADITIONALLY, curing had involved placing buds in bulky glass mason jars or trichome leeching turkey bags and physically burping (ie. opening the jars & turkey bags) to release the excess moisture inside. This manual process is typically done 2 to 4 times per day during the 2 week curing process to lower the risk of the colas developing mold or other microbes during cure.
TerpLoc® packaging like the TerpLoc® Wickets & TerpLoc® pouches target specific gas and water vapor permeability properties, outgassing all excess oxygen to reduce oxidation while curing & also removing the need to burp product by hand saving you time & saving your buds from a lot of friction.

How long does it take to cure cannabis in TerpLoc®?
There is a wide range of understanding for the definition of “cured” cannabis. Curing in TerpLoc® can be as quick as a couple of weeks or as long as half a year, this will depend on your preference. The minimum duration we’ve seen to be viable is about 3 weeks, but if you are able to cure for 6 weeks, the amount of flavor and terpenoids will most likely increase dramatically.
We prefer long extended cures, as research has shown there is a “terpene polymerization” process that occurs during these long cures similar to that of “wine aging”. These are distinct and rare flavors that separate the average potent flower from the extraordinary, the memorable ones, creating intense terpene entourage effects that one can only be described by interjections and not adjectives. Wow. Whoa. Ooh!!

I was impressed with the mad online reviews from comparison cures with and without.
To make sure the buds are the exact moisture level, you can get a cheap $20 wood moisture probe on Amazon. Make sure it is the kind with two pins for probes.

This will bring your dry and cure to the next level, or so i've heard. I'm about to try it here soon. I bought a 1lb Grove Terp-Loc bag off of amazon for around $10.
Either way it beats a lot of nonsense with jars.

Are grow bags permanent storage options or just for curing?

I'm going to stick with mason jars this time around since I already have the humidity meters, but definitely interested.

If I remember right, they can also be used for long-term and will in fact "age" or cure even better. I can't remember if 2 years was a threshold or not...

Ok, I do remember reading something about using a heat sealer for even better curing and long-term storing, and they can be re-used.
I'm a believer of posting facts, so I went and got this, the link is directly below.

Our Features
TerpLoc® bags are thick and sturdy to combat any potential tearing or ripping. Our zipper gusseted pouches are all 4 mil, which compared to a regular ziplock bag of 1.5 – 2mil, is more than double the thickness. The rigidity of TerpLoc® allows you to process large colas with the stem intact and not have to worry about tearing or the stem poking holes in the bag. Oxygen and moisture are controlled via off gassing through TerpLoc® based on the plant’s existing respiration process. Excess amounts are expelled into the atmosphere while the remainder stays within the bag’s microclimate. UV and antistatic properties also protect the various terpenes and cannabinoids from degrading or leaching onto the storage material.
All of the features work together to create the perfect microclimate for cannabis to be preserved naturally for extended periods of time.
With TerpLoc®, storing is curing, and curing is storing. The ability for TerpLoc® to allow for ultra-long cures yields incredible flavor profiles that cannot be seen otherwise, as research suggests that existing terpenes polymerize similar to how wine ages, and time is the ultimate decider of whether your flower is top shelf or the house special.

@Shaded_One is a big fan and says he'll use only Grove for ever.
They are fantastic if you have a big crop, like if you grow outside... using jars just isn't feasible for pounds of weed, you'd spend your life burping. What's left of my harvest from last October is still in grove bags and it still smells, feels and smokes fantastic, and I've mostly just left it alone except to refill my head jars... I didn't even heat seal any of mine because I wanted to reuse the bags. The only thing that would give away that my weed is almost a year old is a slight loss of color on a couple of the strains... but that's normal.
