i'm seeing conflicting information on this. can someone please clarify? i'm aware that getting close the end of the grow the leaves will turn yellow signaling that's it's time to be harvested, but i'm early into flowering and am wondering what's considered an acceptable amount of nitrogen during this phase? any help is appreciated. thanks!

out of curiosity, what would too much nitrogen do to the plant after stretch?

I am running Athena Pro Line. The N-P-K Numbers work out to this.
Veg 4-2-5
Bloom 3.5-3-6
You can take a look online for the nutrient line you are running. Most will vary but not by a lot!

Depends what you want. Do you want little plants that get ripe fast? Do you want to grow monsters that take longer to finish? There's guys on here that don't even use bloom nutes. The 8 week bloomers may end up taking 10 or more weeks.

i'm running 4 autos at the moment and there's not really a definitive schedule from roots organic for autos, but they do have a point in their schedule for photos when they bump the nitrogen once during flower which is why i was curious. appreciate everyone's responses.

Sorry man, I don't do autos.

Yeah I don't do bloom nutes really. A P boost week before flip and again after stretch. Then pretty even ferts keeping what most refer to as a trasition ratio with a touch higher K. Dial em back at the end for an overall reduction of the nutes in the media cutting calcium out 2 week before chop and boosting sulfur. I don't really go to a full bloom ratio and if you do you definitely want to get past stretch before doing so.

thanks, man. they're definitely done stretching and are packing on buds, but i was a little worried that i deprived them of nitrogen earlier on by going low on the nutes during veg as i'm seeing lots of pale yellow/lime green growth, and lower fan leaves yellowing. wanted to give them a shot of it in the next tea that i brew, as their feeding schedule calls for, but i'm doing autos so i know i need to be careful with the amount. the tea that i'll be brewing would wind up with a NPK ratio of 12.5-15-25. what do think about those numbers?

Yup looks good. Have pics of the plants... hard to tell if there are any issues without. Often times it's just ppl over watering or something.

thanks for letting me know.

unfortunately i have no pics. i'm fully aware that would make everything a million times easier, but i'm nervous about posting them as i'm not in an area that is hip with the rest of the world yet. hope you farmers can understand my reasoning?

How do I boost the sulphur? This is something I desperately want to do as I hear it greatly increases resin levels and I've been doing a LOT of research and reading on this. Elemental sulphur supposedly takes a LONG time to react with the soil and is water insoluble, but that would have been my preferred choice. What other choices do I have to add sulphur to my grow?

Can it be cooked in a tea?

Many ways. Magnesium sulphate, potassium sulphate, calcium sulphate…

potassium suphate would probab be best for mid late flower but mag sulphate is commonly used also

Afaik, no. It's insoluble in water and it has to be left in the soil for a VERY long time in order to break down/bind to the soil particles to take effect (I prob got the exact scientific process wrong, so don't quote me on it).

I knew about epsom salts but I did not know about the other two.. Good to know, thank you for telling me :) You wouldn't know what sort of business I'd need to go to to locate the chemicals would you? I tried to locate ammonium sulfate earlier and the only thing I could find here in the Canadian Tire was ALUMINUM sulfate, not the same. I'm trying to stay away from metals
