Afaik, no. It's insoluble in water and it has to be left in the soil for a VERY long time in order to break down/bind to the soil particles to take effect (I prob got the exact scientific process wrong, so don't quote me on it).

I knew about epsom salts but I did not know about the other two.. Good to know, thank you for telling me :) You wouldn't know what sort of business I'd need to go to to locate the chemicals would you? I tried to locate ammonium sulfate earlier and the only thing I could find here in the Canadian Tire was ALUMINUM sulfate, not the same. I'm trying to stay away from metals
Should be able to fond them on amazon… ammonium is a bit harder to get these days… especially ammonium nitrate. To easy to make bombs from but potassium sulphate should be very easy to find online
