Three nights of heavy frost is coming so it's time to chop this weekend. She's 16ft tall and 8ft wide. Most of trichomes are milky. No amber. Needed another week or two but mother nature said too bad lol

It sounds like you'll need a chain saw to cut that up lol.

I hear you on the weather. I cut my last plant last weekend. It could have gone another week or two but I felt like I was already pushing my luck with mother nature. I had already culled the plant right next to it due to wpm and bud rot issues and felt like I was already on borrowed time.

Nice work getting as far as you did with the fall weather!

First outdoor grow. Enjoy the pictures of progress 🙂

Believe it or not, we have had 3 light frost in a row and didn't even phase her. It looks like it help boost the resin. It was a night and day difference after 3 nights of light frost. It went to minimal trichome development to heavy trichomes in a matter of a few days. I truly believe the light frost was a benefit for this particular plant.

Harvest day. With frosts and consistent 32* nights coming, the lavender and granddaddy purple which i planted in March are coming down today. Let the fun begin!

2nd pheno of Maui Wowie still out there, chugging along, looking better everyday. She's still drinking as much as ever, even with the cooler weather. Definitely chunkier, denser buds than the other pheno that I harvested last week, so I've got my eyes close on her for mold, but it's been sunny and dry here lately still, and that looks to continue.

I did sample some of the smaller buds that I had to pull off thinner stems from one of the first phenos that had been at 60/60 for a few days and quick-dry overnight, because I'm low on stash, and I refuse to go to a dispo with so much of it literally on trees in the other room, lol. Anyway, it is greasy and potent. Even with the short cure, it was extremely tasty, and the fruitiness really shines in the smoke, for sure. The high is very dreamy, yet energetic, just like I remember. It's not the kind that has you sitting there melting face, but it is an intense high in its own right; it starts with that euphoric feeling immediately, and a few minutes after the first hit, I found myself sitting there with the bubbler in my hand, forgetting that I already hit it once, after letting my mind wander. Then that feeling of "am I high? I can't tell" kicks in, followed by a burst of energy, and the realization that, "yes, I'm really high." It makes me feel good, and it gives an energetic high with laser sharp focus, that allows me to not only function, but excel and get lost in wherever I direct that energy -- all without any paranoia, or spaciness that, say, a Headband gives me. It's also great, socially, as even though the ceiling is high, it never makes me anti-social. Always down. A true all-day smoke. I kind of want to just quit life and smoke Maui Wowie all day, haha, which might be exactly how the winter plays out

Looking better and better every day, thinking I’m about at the beginning of week seven flower.

This is my first outdoor grow so I am wondering if I should stop feeding a week or so before harvest? I think these plants are going to finish at different times so I’ll try to time it right, but so far so good. Expecting mid to low 20s in the recent forecast and prepared for that.

I stopped feeding my outdoors in the greenhouse 2 weeks before cutting.
Looking good!
Thanks bro! looks like one more feeding then except for the one that is running late. I couldn't find any info on the strain, Cherry Tonic Web CBD, before I planted.....didn't think I would have to go to Thanksgiving with her....lol. Hoping she will play catch up fast and I don't have to go much past Nov. 1.

Chopped 80%-85% of the outdoor, left some lowers to finish if they survive the cold temps coming. Washed most of it yesterday, finishing today. Outdoor is a rollercoaster, though my ride was exceedingly smooth.

Before and after of the bed.

Happy season everyone!!

Took down my last girl today. She was a tree. 5 hours to take her down and prep for drying. The trunk at the base was massive! She filled a 5x5 tent. It weighed in at 9lbs wet. Can't figure the math on how to guess dry weight. Probably around 1 1/2 lbs.

@shaganja
Never seen. What do they do?

They are manual bucking machines.
You pull you branch through the slot that it fits, and it separates the buds.
