What strain compares to the taste of sour diesel

Random but Is there a strain more *gassy * than sour diesel ?

I've smoked dozens of strains that's that taste your looking for but the closest i've gotten to growing it is from Next generation seeds - BC Purps. But even then it's not even close to the strains i've smoked that i've loved. I wish I could find a real gorilla glue type strain but i've grown out 20 fem strains so idk what to do but keep searching.

Diesel smell is basically equal amounts of Myrcene and Limonene. The more you got, the gassier it smells.

Myrcene, or β-myrcene, is an alkene natural hydrocarbon. It is more precisely classified as a monoterpene. Monoterpenes are dimers of isoprenoid precursors, and myrcene is the primary component of the essential oil of the South African Adenandra villosa (50%), Myrcene is also found in bay, cannabis, and hops.

Limonene is a colorless liquid aliphatic hydrocarbon classified as a cyclic monoterpene, and is the major component in the oil of citrus fruit peels. The D-isomer, occurring more commonly in nature as the fragrance of oranges, is a flavoring agent in food manufacturing.

2 hydrocarbons that when put together smell like a different hydrocarbon.

I love strains with plenty of limonene.

I have a Lemon Thai f3 that was created from Lemon Thai plants that were bred by a short-lived company that called itself Fusion Seeds. They had one or two drops, before disaster struck and they lost all their breeding males and females. This was about ten years ago. I am led to believe the Lemon Thai was originally from a company called Dutch Flowers.

ANYWAY, when I grew them, they proved to be the most intensely lemony reefer I had ever smoked. The only problem was relatively low potency (probably mid-teens as far as % THC cannabinoids).

I have 9 seeds left, and some candidates for crossing to bring that potency up to today's levels. This will happen in 2023, when I quit working one of my two jobs. I can barely wait. If I come up with something worth smoking, I'll report it here.

Gas Mask, I bought a gram today to try and it is like the chem dog but not as heavy a smoke.. Sweeter.....I really liked it....1 gram = 1 joint and a small taste for my next one, I'm smoking now...$8/ G.....I made an order for some syrup for my wife and added a couple of grams to sample.....the other was Death Canopy meh....but I liked the Gas a lot

Strawberry lemonade is pretty gassy/skunky. Its from barneys farm, its strawberry cough crossed with lemon OG.

Then, 2 bagseeds i grew out that were wicked gassy were superglue and zookies. Like burn your nose down into your gut stinky.

sweet thanks everyone really !

I have heard of chemdog before but never grew or smoked it, but now that I see its og kush crossed with sour diesel ¿! damn that sounds like what I want lol, noted for next run.
I am currently growing Hellfire og from coastalmary and they say its sfv og - og kush I hope it turns out decent .

I have 4 beans of Chemdog by Anesia. They’ll be up next when I’m done with my current Strawberry Kush grow. Probably be a Spring time grow. Haven’t decided if I’ll keep it indoors or put outside. Yours are in a greenhouse right? How they doing? Any tips for the strain? I haven’t grown Chemdog before, but have smoked it. It is a heavy hitter for sure and not for the faint of heart, lol.

No not these. I started them from seed the last week of September inside once I had most of my outdoor plants harvested. Mine are from Greenhouse Seeds. I also have 5 very young seedlings called Kanzeon's kaleidoscope. Those are regs so it's not likely all will be female. In a few weeks we'll add pineapple chunk to the mix.

Where did you get your Anesia Seeds? All places I know of are European. I've had trouble processing credit card transactions with European orders.

Seed City out of the UK. I used a bank wire transfer. Very easy.

Tony Greene has an IBL GG he has perfected over the last decade and just about all his crosses have it in them. Wonderful stuff.
