I purchased the T3 & T7 humidifiers by AC Infinity. My first impression of the T3 was it wasn’t big enough for the task at hand. I was wrong. It is supplied with a 1” accordion type tubing which just seem small but as it turns out 1”’works fine. It stretches out to about 8 feet. I have it routed in to a 3x3 gorilla tent. It is being operated by a 69 wifi controller. Thus far it is maintaining my rh set point of 45%. I don’t think it will have to be filled as often since it is on a controller. That might not be the case when running seedlings at 65% in a low rh lung room like during winter. So that remains to be seen. But for now I’d recommend the T3 for a small tent.

The T7 is a beast. It is in a 4x8 room. Definitely holding its own and dead on with my set point. It is on a 69 wifi. I also recommend the T7 for a sealed room, a lung room, or in a larger grow tent. It has a small foot print but is taller. Holds 4 gal and is on casters. Nice unit.

Let me know if you have questions about either unit.

Need to give an update on the T3. The supplied tubing isn’t long enough to reach from where the humidifier sits on the floor next to the tent to run up alongside the outside and then though a vent in the top of the tent. When routed like that my exhaust fan sucked the mist out as fast as it was going in. So instead I routed it through a lower vent in the side of the tent. The problem with that is the low spots in the tubing fill with condensate. It actually got to the point where the accumulated condensate blocked the mist off. So what to do. I ran to lowes and got 6 more feet of slightly larger diameter tubing (was only size at Lowes). I pushed the AC infinity tubing into the larger tubing and duct taped it. I then routed the tubing back to the top outside the tent and down the inside wall away from the exhaust toward the tent floor. Seems to be working ok now. May need some kind of drawing collection pan under the outlet. Remains to be seen.

Hopefully @ACINFINITYINC reads this review and starts supplying longer tubing with the T3 cause it ain’t long enough.

Love @ACINFINITYINC PRODUCTS. I wish they would make a compact tower fan and a dehumidifier.

Wasn’t meant as a warning. Just a installation heads up. The tubing that comes with it might work well enough for you. In my case it wasn’t long enough. It’s running a 3x3 so everything is compact. I have a carbon filter in my tent and the hose was only a couple feet away. The humidifier tubing with extension is now routed through the top and down a side wall toward the floor. No more condensate issue and the exhaust is now drawing the rh air up from the bottom of the tent. Working much better now. You’ll be happy with it I’m sure.

Any suggestions on how to fix the lack of a feed line and float valve?

Float valve probably wouldn’t work unless it is really small.
Think this would fit?

Mini float valve

Not mounted inside a T3. On the outside yes. The problem with mounting inside is the humidifier outlet standpipe in the middle of the tank.

The T7 would accommodate either location.

I'm literally testing this on another humidifier. Drilling and mounting today.

I've already emailed AC Infinity about it. Such a major oversight

I hope it works. Pls post up a pic if you figure it out.

It’s gonna take some trickery to make it work if it is bottom fed like the ones I have used. They depend on the vacuum in the bottle you fill up to work. My attempts to externally fill those styles have failed. I finally built my own because I don’t think what we want exists. Just a tiny humidifier that can be fed with 1/4 RO line is all I ask. Having it linked to the ac infinity network would be very nice.

Which model humidifier?
A local one in Australia. Just to test the theory.

Its driving me insane. Companies really need to interact with their target market better.

Focusing on automation while insuring people have to stay near to constantly refill is not it...

If only it were an evaporative humidifier… swing and a miss

Don’t know about that. The two I have been work horses.
I use an ultrasonic as well, I was just hopeful that they made an evaporative one.

Ultrasonic humidifiers will create a film build up in your room and on your plants. They can also hurt your health because they aerosolize the minerals in the water which is what causes the white build up. Just use RO water and we shouldn’t have any issues.
