Oh yeah forgot to add earlier, this time around I think I will be running the inline fan without the carbon filter. There's really no need for me to cover smell so I figure ill try it out
They work like a champion without the filter,I run a SF 6" inline fan for fresh air input and an Ipower 6" inline fan for the exhaust both without filters ! I did although take the filter from an old window AC and attached it to both fans intake side to keep dust and debris out.I run both of these in my homemade Panda film tent 4x7 .I also have the luxury of being off to myself and myself and my family love it.I wish you well in life and on your grow!

Look at the clusters of trichomes 😅 that’s what the Cman brings to the table in the right phenos. The pure Michigan you can see the separated trichomes more but the Cman it’s like she smears em on there with a paint brush !😎

I love it bro! It's almost too much if there was such a thing,

So for this next grow I'm really kicking around the idea of ordering some grass roots plastic lined living soil fabric pots. The 15 gallon ones have an 18" diameter with a 14" height so 2 would fit perfectly in the 2x4. Plus they're only $12 bucks each which seems cheap compared to earth boxes and all that fancy stuff. They wouldnt ship until the 18th, but the beans haven't even sunk yet and they'll never know lol. They've got 2 containers to grow through first.

Jumping from 1 gallon to 15 gallon to treat this next grow right, who's with me?

And who's gonna cover the cost to ammend all that damn soil? 😭🤣

I used those before but haven’t had too much experience with em but they worked pretty good and helped retain moisture.

Earthboxes a dope but they are a bit pricey and you gotta be careful not to fill the res before letting it dry out a bit. I found out the hard way on that but in flower the plants drink so much it doesn’t seem like it would be an issue. They do work great tho if you’re really busy or want to put time in elsewhere.

I’ve recently started using promix HP which doesn’t have any castings or nutrients and I’m strictly top dressing everything and have had pretty good results so far. It’s going to be the way I run living soil from now on. Top dress your amendments and castings and let it rip!! I will still amend my already used soil tho so it can cook until the next run. Big containers really do make things easier I think you will crush it with some 15 gal pots. I would top and train this next run bc I’ve said it before they are gonna stretch like crazy! Here’s the before and after from that run with the Okie Wedding Cake X The Real Sour and Oreoz X Okie run. They just kept growing 😆

I definitely like the idea of the earth boxes and would like to give them a try in the future for sure! The ease they provide is pretty much what got me into organic in the first place, they're just a bit pricey for me at the moment.
That's what got me hooked on the grassroots, 15 gallons for $12 a piece I'll take it haha. I'm sure there's similar prices out there but I really like the dimensions on these ones, how they're shorter and wider.

And hell yeah man thanks for looking out! I like doing things different every grow so this will be a perfect time to get back into topping 😁 God those plants are gorgeous haha I'm so stoked!

And that's interesting what you said about amending! I've got two big plastic containers of fresh Happy frog and ocean forest so I'm wondering if maybe not cutting out the amending completely, but cutting it down to maybe one half of what I was doing or even less in combination with the 15 gallon pot size would still get me by just fine.

5 gal pot amended with 3tbsp nutrients/gallon vs 15 gallon pot amended with 1tbsp nutrients/ gallon 🧐

Finished cleaning the tent and planted the seeds at about 8:00 last night, making a 48 hour soak time in the tap water.
IMG 20221211 215235732

Planted them about 1/4" deep (usually go deeper wanted to try shallow end) after pre-watering the solos of happy frog and filling the seed holes I dug with granulated mykos. Once the holes were filled with mykos, I dropped the seeds in, covered with dirt and stuck em in the tent.

Lights on 60 or 70 right now I think but I'm gonna try 80% power and see how the seedlings do, they're probably 40-45" from the light which is set to 18/6.

Left the floor fan off to keep top soil moist 👍

So I was driving home from work, and out of nowhere I decided to pop one reg seed while there's still time. After some serious internal debate, we're going with the Original Og x Madmartigan 🤞🏻

If it's a female hell yeah, if it's a male oh well I guess 2 was meant to be. I don't think it will be male, I chose the seed I did because it says "f" for female 😜

Soaking in the dragon glass to make it official 👹

Pretty good day yesterday in the grow.

Okie x Sour #1
Was sprouted with helmet head when I got home from work, removed the casing and thought the seedling was bleeding for a split second when I did 🤣

Okie x Sour #2 is almost through 👍

The Original Og x Madmartigan had cracked open so I planted it with the same mykos and stuck it in the tent. That bean only got 24 hour soak vs 48 like the other 2.

started trimming the Pure Michigan x Cinderella Man #1 last night. Very, very sticky 😉

Not exactly ideal conditions for seedlings, but oh well what can you do lol.
IMG 20221215 174423344
They seem to be doing alright though! I'm hoping with the mycorrhizal fungi they will be better able to cope with the low temps/ humidity.

I really don't want to water, but I will slightly to moisten the soil. they haven't had any water since planted on Sunday
