Actually, I did on the one that’s 14 months and still wrapped.

Well folks, I got into my little temple ball to break my 2 week tolerance break. I used my Mighty. Weed on bottom, little piece of hash that I pressed into a disc with my fingers and parchment, more weed on top. I turned my Mighty on to start heating before packing as I usually do, really got one chance to drop the hash cause it started melting immediately... maybe next time I'll do a cold start lol. I've had hash probably like 10 times in my whole life, so my opinion is limited, but it was the best hash I've smoked yet. Maybe it was the Mighty keeping an even temp and letting all the flavors through. The only way I can describe the taste is floral, like I took a big whiff of a flower that smells amazing, like a rose, lilac, or peonie, and chewed on that smell lol. Needless to say I was stoned to the bone and slept like a sloth (because sloths sleep up to 20 hours a day and babies sleep like shit, slept like a baby is a horrible saying.) So I'm a fan. Gonna make a big mama ball like the ones at the dispo when I have time... well maybe not that big, I think those are like 30 plus grams... I'll aim for 10-20... bigger than my little 3 gram pearl anyway.

I was wondering if it would gunk up the screens. Probably have to mix it with some weed. I’m new to vaping. You’re doing a great job!

It can. It's all about the ratio/amount of flower added, not going too high a temp at first, letting it cool a bit in between hits.......there's also that pressed pad that you can insert that grabs the melt. It's most difficult with wax, but just don't put in too much at once, use the pad, andcenough flower.

I strongly recommend you order every replacement part, extra screens, mouthpiece, everything......wait for a coupon code and get it all so you will be able to replace anybpart at any time.

I'm being influenced by your pics and comments about trying the dry sifting hash myself. I've enough smoke now to experiment with some it. I have the Bubble wash bags but I wasn't impressed with the ratio of weed to hash / kief.....

I'll have to go back and look at your screen sizes and set up when I'm ready to buy. I searched amzon once and and I saw them available.

I'll do a bit more looking into a set up.....then there's the clean space issue.....getting the parts is the easy bit.....having a clean open space ???.....its getting a bit close in my basement grow...somethings gotta give way

I did it out on my porch. Definitely not overly clean or open... but I made it work. I just spread parchment everywhere and called it sufficient lol.

I use a piece of plexiglass I got at Lowes as my table top. Got a work bench in the garage I set it on. It’s right about at my lower chest in hight if that makes sense. No bending over to sift. Garage is about 40 - 45 degrees. Works well for me.

The pucks held together better last time when I didn't steal all the heads, but my goal was a temple ball, so I'm ok with it. This will be my treat after my tolerance break, I'll make a bigger one to cure for an extended period. Hopefully the pucks still get the job done.

Nice job! I also am not a hash head…but I wanna be 😁 …always love it but only smoked it a few times. I have the Crafty, the little version of the Mighty. Never tried hash in it and was thinking about it the other day. Mine came with a “concentrate screen” that I might try with a piece of hash. The vapor out of these Storz and Bickel gadgets is great!

Question… might be a dumb one…. Do you guys notice different flavors based on which strain you used when doing traditional hash making? Or does the process always just make it taste like that classic hash flavor?(which I love).

That's exactly what you want to use (the pad). It's like a little pressed circle, tightly woven, like a more pressed brillo pad, that fits perfectly in there. If you can add a little flower under it, a little on top, even better. Dial it in a little low, and work up, pull more gently than you would with flower.

buy screens from bubbleman, i just hate amazon for things like that, haha
anyhoo if your in canada try princess auto they sell metal tables the exact size of the 2x3 screens.. perfect height too..
keep your cardboard boxes the screens come in to use for storage of your screens when not in use, or even the box the table comes in is perfect size too.,

Maybe a regular bowl/glass pipe is in order, still with some flower as a base, snd just ever so gently just barely touch the hash with the flame of a lighter, like you're trying to vape it without fully burning it........it of course will burn, melt.....but if you can do it slowly, over the course of a few hits, you should be able to enjoy it without it burning up/melting quickly.
