I use wreath blanks under my pots. Lifts them for airflow and allows proper drainage. You can get them at the Dollar Store where they keep the fake flowers. When these pots are throughly watered they drip out from the bottom.

so what does it mean when my pots leak from the sides?

ahhh that makes sense okay so water let it soak in wait like 5 mins the water again? and so on until i use 3/4 of a gallon?

It’s a blank. Meaning a round wire piece meant to make a wreath with. Mine are all in the flower room currently which went to sleep at five, so tomorrow I’ll pop a pic for you.

okay so my plant is still heavy and hard on the sides when i squeeze it. i just watered it this morning should i water it again tomorrow?

Just to make sure you’re not drowning this lady, what area of the pot do you water?

i usually just put some water with a cup everywhere on top…maybe i should use a sprayer or get a watering can? i mostly concerned that the leaves won’t bounce back

You need to water along the sides of your pot, and not around the root ball of the plant, meaning directly up close to the stalk. Doing this makes a mud hole u def your plant, depriving it of oxygen and she will drown.
To fix this, start watering along the outer edge, you will never get what you need in the soil using a sprayer. Get a solo cup and water it a cup at a time if you have to. As soon as you get the watering process right, she will line out.
