I think I overfed the PNG Kashmir, believe it or not. I gave it a heavy bloom topdress a few weeks back and it didn't like it. It's still growing out of some weird leaf curling and yellowing. I think it could be stunted and that's why it's flowering so slow. The tall Columbian kindof slowed down after that topdress as well. I have been lowering the amount of topdress and increasing nitrogen a bit for the long flowering sativas. Gave plain water yesterday. They are putting out more flowers now as well. I don't have any numerical data for this grow. Just a spoonful or two of terp tea dry amendments when I feel like they need it.
Hmm ok that might be possible as well. I never did pure sativas, but read about them not needing that much food.
So you are saying not the full dose of nutrients. I will try to keep that in mind when i grow mine.
The structure for fat buds is given ^^

I haven't grown a pure sativa in over a decade. I mixed the soil the same for all the plants, but next time I'll probably put sativas in a lighter mix and feed a mix of bloom and veg early in flower. The PNG Kashmir seems to flower in spurts, and it's bulk is deceiving because of the leaves. The buds are growing in size, but the plant looks unchanged when I open the tent. When I pull it out for water is when I notice new buds and weight in the branches.

The chunky Columbian is going to come down soon. It's starting to smell strongly, calyxes are swelling up, still mostly clear trichomes on the buds. Few days or a week maybe. This is the start of week 12 for this one.

I thought it would be done at week 10, but it's improved greatly in the smell and sticky over the last week. Glad I waited. It reeks now.

Pulled out for water and topdress. The short haze is still showing clear trichomes on the buds. Going to let it keep going. It's smelling better and better.

The PNG Kashmir is stacking up. Still has a ways to go.

The tall Columbian still has a ways, but is getting really sticky.

Water and topdress today, they are slowing down their drinking it seems. Started giving bloom booster. These sativas sure take their time...coming to the end of week 13, still a ways to go.

Here is a preview of the chunky Columbian, it's been hanging for about a week. The main plant and buds aren't dry yet. This was the little sucker branch on the very bottom of plant, dried separately, it's almost dry ready to sweat. I ground this up, let it air dry, rolled in a j and it burns smooth already, grey ash, no harshness. Better high than dispo weed, but not a wow factor on this little bud. It did give me the energy to go shovel my neighbors roof, lots of snow in my neck of the woods.

The Columbian I smoked in Florida had a really neat odor -- very distinct -- you knew it wasn't Mexican or Jamaican. Probably the higher buds will take out your mental dry cleaning.
