I have 2 of their SE3000 both a bit different look to them this new G series advertising

" The G series utilizes the same design philosophy as the premium SE series but at a more affordable price point. G Series is also suitable grow spaces with low ceiling or grow tent under 7′."

It looks like they're going with more plastic......to cut costs?
Maybe to reduce weight? My 5000 is fairly heavy.

I regularly over-stuff my 5 x 5. You have to prune them ruthlessly.

Height has mostly been kept in check (this is the end of the second week of stretch) with super cropping/stem squashing and bending. One of the exceptions is the gal in the back left corner. She's in a 3 gallon pot, while everyone else is in a 5 gallon. The smaller pot has not made her slow down the stretch. Unfortunately, what keeps height down makes them branch out.

These are all from seed. It's pretty clear that the gal in front-center would be happy to take over 1/4 of the tent or more, but I have no idea if I'll like any of these. (I'm pretty sure I'll like them, but that's the case whenever I'm growing something new, and it doesn't always pan out.)

Now that I posted this pic, I can see a lower branch or two that needs to be removed on some of these. I'm talking to you, lower branch on the gal to the right.

anxiety....skyrocketing! 🚀👨‍🚀

how do you trim the ones in the back corners??

Do you vape? Granny?
Only if I have too. I know a lot of ppl do..well I’m not crazy about the taste. I’ve tried several brands of vapes and so far the one that is closest to a doobie in taste is the DiVinci. I guess I really enjoy the rolling of my goods too. But yes, if I’m in a hotel etc. I pull out that nasty tasting thing! It for sure helps on the smell.

I have a question and it might be a dumb one because I don't have a tent, but... why don't they just... make taller tents? I see so many posts of people struggling with vertical space and having to do grow gymnastics to keep the buds far enough away from the lights... Do they make extra tall tents? Seems like too obvious of a solution, so there must be something I'm missing? I guess you'd have to have tall enough ceilings to accommodate... maybe I take that for granted in my old ass house with higher than average ceilings lol. Inquiring minds want to know. 🤷‍♀️
That one in the pic is 8 feet tall, one inch clearance to my basement ceiling. But you lose a bit over a foot to the carbon filter and a few inches for the light.

Also, I don't know about you, but I have developed a preference for plants of a particular height. For me, that's about 5 feet tall. It's the perfect height to inspect them all from above and from the side. Plenty of room to adjust the height of the light.

I have another that's 7 feet tall, that I can add an extension to, but 7 feet is plenty for that one. If I add another "production tent," rather than mom plant, seed starting or clone tent, it will be 8 feet tall.

Great photos (I'm partial to the ones of the Adirondacks ;) )

When we got the house, our son went over to the other side of the pond and took a great picture. So after some pics on just one of the many lakes, you'll see the pic of the house, that's our pond, fed by a stream, and the surrounding forest. Plus a pic of the snowy driveway......

The day I flipped them I took cuts and also pruned the hell out of them, so the lowest branches were already gone. The ones in the front were also pulled out about a week into flower, so I could tend the ones in the back.

Now I'll rely on the side windows, unless something really weird happens.

Those are tall plants for a tent....I'm real new to tents but I sorta thought they were best utilized with a Scrog set up...7ft plants goes 4ft up and 3 across . When I've grown 7 fters indoors under my 1000w hps the bottom 1/3 all gets chopped off anyways so its like a 4ft plant out of the ground..........Do you use side lighting at all/

For me working from the windows is a pain. I’m just tall enough that it puts a hell of a strain on my lower back. But, like you, I make it happen. Everything looks great!
After having dealt with PM, I’m paranoid!

No side lighting, but before I started using those ceramic heat lamps for lizards, I was considering a vertically hung 600W HPS for the heat + benefit of extra lighting. I've also seen vertical grows that yield a lot, but I've never tried it, myself.

I'm with you on plant size, 5' would be nice, that would be a maximum, because if you add for a foot of the pot, they'll finish 6ft+ off the ground. Anything not a short Indica will probably be somewhat pruned, bent, and sativas will be topped and trained.

It seems like grow tents are kind of crowded/cramped. Even besides the height, they probably should make them taller, but it just seems difficult to work with. Some parts of it I guess are convenient, it's a specific size, blocks out light....

PM is something I've never had, up to this point. I'm sure I'd be paranoid about it if I did.

I defoliate a lot for air circulation and leaves aren't allowed to touch, but that's all I do. Air is a lot drier here in MI than it was when I grew in the Carolinas.
