Oh yes, I'm already a latte deep... letting hubs sleep in then gonna go shovel... aka, hold shovels while we hide from our child to wake and bake.
Guess that's one good thing about the snow, makes for an easy alibi... but he's catching on lol.
The age old question, do we continue to be sneaky in perpetuity... or be honest eventually? He already knows I make edibles, aka grown up treats... might tell him this year that my plants are the medicine for the treats. I know some of y'all have kids, how do you handle it?
I just don't want him to think smoking is cool, I don't even like him to see people be looks up to smoking ciggys... like my bff always uses the smoking a ciggy excuse to burn and I feel like that's not any better, but actually worse lol... we don't smoke ciggys, just lefties.

My son was 8 last year when I stated my first grow…
I used to smoke cigs but quit before he was born because I didn’t want him to see that as we all know the negative side of them now.
Me and the wife choose not to smoke in front of them but I did tell him what I was growing/drying (eventually) last year.
I explained it was just like alcohol and for adults. I explained the medical side and what mommy and daddy did with it. He had lots of questions (especially since he was into the game warden shows then where people were getting arrested for it and I had to explain its legal in NY now but not every state)

The other kids aren’t old enough to understand yet….but it was sure an easier conversation than “how dose mommy get a baby in her stomach” which we had at dinner the other night needed a smoke after that!

In new york as well, it is legal to have but not legal to grow for another 16 months unless you have a med card. NY and their dumb ass laws.

Used go sledding there as a kid - could ride Al day and never see a soul! Last time I was thru there (10/12 years ago) I seen more cabins and sleds than cars so I can only imagine how it’s been invaded by humans -

Haha... yesss... guidelines for the morally inept and stupid that can't think for themselves. I mean... "don't murder" is a good law, but it should go without saying... "don't grow a plant cause it gets you high" is a dumb law made to keep the masses from expanding thier minds. "Drive 55" is definitely just a suggestion.

Yeah they made the law where you cant legally grow at home until 18 months after the first legal sale.

Reminds me of the time a friend and I went day drinking and I kept ordering stouts and porters at this brewery because I only like dark beer or liquor (on the rare occasion I drink) Probably had like 6 or 7, and they were all like 12-18 %... plus a few shots at the next place while we waited for my husband to come pick us up... I was hungover for 3 days and didn't drink again for like a year... my husband had to help me get out of my jeans to get in bed cause I was stuck... ohhh the shame That's when I realized that drinking in your 20s and drinking in your 30s are NOT the same.

I once went to this craft beer exhibit, festival, whatever you want to call it, they had like 50 breweries show up. I think I paid $40 and they gave me this cute, tiny little beer glass, it must have held 3oz of beer. So cute. So tiny. Little itty bitty cutey glass..........so I started "sampling" 3oz of all these different beers. After about 25 of them I started doing the math........

I called my wife from the bushes downstairs which were very supportive, but I didn't have a plan after that. She didn't know which side of the building I was on, but found me.......and sorta did that carrying you thing where you half get on their back.......

Probably what amounted to 5 pints of an average of 10%, some were 6%, then there were the 12% barleywines, and 14% stouts.......eesh.

I stopped drinking after the last time me and Jack Daniels went on a date. I woke up that next morning more wrecked than I had ever felt before.

Took stock in my vices and did a pro/con. Weed won because I don't wake up feeling like I was hit by a truck. Alcohol wreaks havoc on my old battered body. Weed doesn't.

When we're 20 we can get drunk, sleep for 10 hours, wake up, water, food......good to go...

Now I gotta plan a special day once or twice a month, go out, have no more than 3 good beers, with 3 waters, food, get home early, get extra sleep to still feel a little yucky for the next 2 days..........yar.

If good beer and wine had 0 alcohol in it I think I'd like it better. If it didn't taste so darn good I wouldn't drink at all. Now I have no tolerance taboot. Alcohol is also a sugar, double whammy on diabetes. That's why between the alcohol and carbs it doesn't matter if you get extra sleep, you're really not.

100% thats a suggestion, just like corner speed signs, you can double them and subract 10 and still make it around the turn

Ihardly drive speed limits, and have yet to get a speeding ticket. 10 years driving and i have had 2. Unlawful possession and tinted windows, yeah fk NYS. Beautiful state but everything else sucks.

I think the stated penalty for up to a certain number of plants is literally no penalty. I don't think a single person will be punished for it. You'd have to be doing something else wrong or growing a heck of a lot.

Don't jinx yourself. I too speed on a regular basis and have a spotless driving record lol... been pulled over a few times but talked my way out of a ticket... once I was in a bikini so that might have helped That won't help me now though, my mom boobs don't have the same effect as my 20 something boobs did.
