Seems just right. I grow some big o girls in those things!Cool, was considering 5 gals but will now hit up some 7 pounders.
I agree!Seems just right. I grow some big o girls in those things!
I used 7 gallon this time after using 5 last time and damn thing looks like a leg lolCool, was considering 5 gals but will now hit up some 7 pounders.
Whats up bro, been a minute hope all is growing well! Yeah dude Ive heard too many horror stories of too small pots with soil SO I def wanna give em plenty of room. Are you documenting your current grow somewhere? I'll be sure to give it a follow.I used 7 gallon this time after using 5 last time and damn thing looks like a leg lol
no i have been busy lately. I have a grow journal that i keep. it's just a excel spreadsheet of what day, and what temp, RH%, how much i water and what nutes i give her.Whats up bro, been a minute hope all is growing well! because you actually have the sizing on there i saw this picture and wondered if it could help since it has sizing on the different types on it. seems the bulbous ones are tiny tiny -Just a research update: are these sessile glands? A type of immature trichome? Since they are on the underside of the leaves, maybe thats what these are?
I did for a second...lmao. I call them "Learnperiences"Those up turned leaf edges look like they're from heat/light, not bugs. You don't really think you have thousands of mite eggs per square millimeter, do you?
This is a topic that we could spend significantly long time and and get nowhere.Been having time to think about my whole growing saga lately (lol) and I got a question for y'all: I have been getting really good yields and effects from my herb, but the one thing its lacking is FLAVOR. Now, there is the debate of organic vs salts debatably resulting in more terps, but I've been convinced that one can get good tasting flower in salts AND organics. My herb smells great through flower and smells fire in the jar, grows fine, but the taste is like a 2/10 tho aka doesnt taste anywhere near how it smells.
Since my plants grow super mega fast and strong and yield me lots, Im thinking either the NER of my feeding recipe for GH trio + Koolbloom +humic acids is off causing my plants to horde unnecessary high levels of chlorophyll resulting in tasteless buds OR its Genetics OR its something crazy like Hop Latent Virus.
So what say you all, I dry for 14+ days @ 60/60, jar up. My weed gets me BAKED AF but its the flavors that arent there, everything else is on point: density, yield, effects. But I want to fricken taste the weed, or else I feel like I failed in a way. I am gonna ditch the GH and go with a simpler feeding regime for salts (athena or megacrop or jacks) and am also gonna try out a full organic run. However, it really bugs me that I have grown out several phenos on GH and still have yet to grow anything that TASTES even remotely close to how it smells. Ayuda Por Favor?

i thought about switching from soil to coco then realized if i am going to switch from a method that's proven to myself for growing i might as well go big and just make my own large hydro setup. one day, but honestly i kinda like playing in the dirt, something about it.I hope is right (he usually is). I am in the process of switching from organic soil to coco for the first time right now. After my current seed run, I plan to run a side-by-side organic soil versus coco grow with clones of all the same strain. I definitely hope coco produces the same taste!
It’s funny because I was transplanting a few plants today and was thinking I like how clean coco is. Im going to give it a shot. Whats up! Thanks for the insight. My first couple runs i over-did the N in flower i think, and didnt get too much smell, but smell after jarring. Last couple grows with different NER and less N in flower has em smelling waaaay stronger. Hoping its genetic related like your sayin, i guess a good way of testing this theory is to get a tried and tested clone from someone, like Trustfall or another good cloner. This is a topic that we could spend significantly long time and and get nowhere.
the biggest contributor will be strain and much has been lost in genetics over the last couple decades with the push to produce the highest THC levels.
sulphur is inpo part of flavinoids and terps. But you have have the terps and lacking flavor i would haz a guess that it would be genetic related
Sounds like we need an offical Soil vs Coco Thread. I am interested in organics cuz of the health and of course if it solves this flavor mystery I'll be converted lol. I will be doing a side by side organic vs coco grow next time too, is there a thread on that? Maybe we should start one :DI hope is right (he usually is).
